Appalling, decided to visit for the first time as a group of 2 adults and 4 children, we now know why there is a premier inn nearby , because if you would like to experience all the things you definitely need to stay overnight!! The managing of the place certainly needs looking into , the queuing, ridiculous, not because it was busy because it certainly wasn’t , it was because you have to fill in the waiver forms once you get to the front, more waiting time added to the time you’ve just spent in the queue, why you don’t get these sent to fill in when you book online is a mystery, would save so much time, then there’s the queue’s, why not one for online booking, and another for walk in bookings? The gravity stood slide. My goodness 90 mins wait for 1 minute!!! Why not have 2 staff harnessing and 2 staff at the top, i putting them on 1 taking them off, thus keeping the flow of the ride going?? Food outlets,, TGI Fridays, what a big letdown, half empty 2.5 hours, from entering it was 1.5 hours before we got our food and that was after having to chase it up, then the food was awful,, pasta no sauce, swimming in water, kids meals ( 8 beans?) really. And then chips missing with chicken strips , unfit to eat once they arrived, when paying £20+ a meal you at least expect it to be worth eating, So from a day of hoping to try more activities we did golf a meal and the roof slide, no time for anything else, 6 hours before we could get a bowling slot, missed the slot for the climbing walks as we were still awaiting our food , no times available at sledging, so even tho we did t hook the activities online I’m glad we didn’t as we would have most likely missed our slots due to everything else taking so long, If the can’t staff it for walk ins then make people aware that it is advised to book online before visiting as it seems unless you do you have no chance of experiencing all the activities there is on offer, A very expensive day and not the pleasant day out we would have like, Will we return? I hope so , but we will book ahead with plenty...
Read moreThis is a great place to take the children, especially if the weather is not so great outside.
It's all undercover, with lots of things to do during the school holidays.
Upstairs, there is a play centre where we have taken my Grandson a couple of times. It was for children's birthday parties so I can't give you the price of an individual play. But I'm very sure it was a reasonable price, just as the food and drink prices are very good.
Next upstairs, there is an amusements which is token led and a cinema which has very large and comfortable screens. The entrance to the zip line is also upstairs.
Downstairs, there is plenty of places to eat from Nandos, Franky and Bennys, italian restaurants/ pizza places/ kebab meat and burger as well as other food places. There's a few shops with snow/climbing equipment.
A very large bowling Lane and amusements.
Up the back is a crazy golf, a climbing wall area, entrance to the gym and the ski slope. There's other things to do too but I can't recall it all.
Outside during holidays and weekends, there are fairground rides and a small but free play park.
Don't forget the wetherspoons if you need a little drink to recuperate after all of the activities.
A huge free parking area which has disabled and child spaces. This fills up quickly as there is also a shopping area...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking experience today on the go karts , after a race that my 14 year old son , my brother and his 5 year old daughter were on ,they and the rest of the go karts went into to pit , or whatever it’s called where everyone gets out at the end of the race and leave the track, all while the staff set another race going, a man getting out of his kart is hit when one of the new racers hit the gate and it went flying into his leg leaving a very nasty wound, ambulance had to come and the lot , he was on the floor till they bandaged him up and put him in a wheelchair, I hope this guy is ok , if he or his family want a witness to help sue these clowns and see this , feel free to reach out .. the worst thing about this is that it could have so easily have been a small child hit, my son and 5 year old niece walked down that area seconds before, it that was a small child it would have been a terrible outcome, absolutely disgraceful that this can even happen in a modern place like that , to take the absolute Micky they opened it back up a few hours later !! I worked with a bloke who had a similar leg injury in the workplace and they sent everyone home while health and safety came in and investigated…. Never visit this absolute dive … Hope the guy sues them to...
