Crafts Study Centre — Attraction in Waverley

Simply excellent…..staff, very helpful and friendly. I went to enquire about Bernard Leach and the Leach pottery. Greta, one of the staff there showed me around - there is enough material in BL’s papers, his pots together with his associates to spend years there and still not see everything - even though it’s kept in small rooms. There was an exhibition downstairs of amongst others Ladi Kwali and Dame Magdalene Odundo’s work - awesome pieces. I didn’t realise there was so much to see at least for someone like me and my interest in studio pottery. Thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the staff and the pottery pieces.
