Coffee Diem, Farnham — Restaurant in Waverley

A truly disappointing experience which could have been improved so easily. Having never been to Farnham before it was exciting to find a lovely independent coffee shop within minutes of parking. We were delighted to find a table and be informed by a nice gentleman that it was table service. All good so far. We then ordered our modest lunches to be informed that the first two selections were not available with no suggestions of an alternative or what was available. We settled on two hot cross buns not what we wanted but in the absence of a better suggestion it would have to do. Our coffees arrived which were fine but our hot cross buns took over half an hour to appear, in fact they never did. I went to the till to pay for our coffees and explain that it was too late to have the hot cross buns but to no avail. I paid the full price and no refund nor apology was offered. I was just told that the offending buns would be with us shortly - I am left wondering...

Outstanding Customer Service and Great Food!

Spacious, clean cafe with a clam atmosphere. 100% recommend a visit to anyone else who has a disabled friend, family member, service user etc.

I visited Coffee Diem just before the second lockdown with a disabled person I care for. During our visit all the staff were warm, friendly, patient and accommodating with our needs/ behaviours.

We enjoyed a lovely brownie but got a bit enthusiastic and a little messy! One of the employees thought on their feet at got me a clean cloth which he'd run under warm water. I didn't even have to ask! I was extremely touched by his compassion and understanding I have never experienced such helpfulness like this from any other establishment in the 10 years I've worked in the care industry.
