My son's and I have been bowling here for several weeks along with venues in Chester and Liverpool.
Frankly, there is simply no comparison. Bromborough Bowl is dedicated to families, dedicated to supplying bespoke equipment at competitive prices, dedicated to nurturing young beginners and offering the very best experience regardless of your ability.
Let's start with booking a lane on line. Easy and reliable. When you arrive, staff are busy, helpful and enthusiastic, ensuring you your needs are met. Everything is explained, nothing too much trouble.
Cleaning of Balls, Lanes and Chairs are scrupulously observed during this Covid period. Wipes and sanitation are plentiful. Indeed, a bit OTT. Clean, orderly and efficient, even under pressure inspired huge confidence.
Lovely atmosphere that is superb for organised parties, dedicated bowlers and casual groups of adults and teens.
Scratch a little deeper and you will find this venue is head and shoulders above others.
Firstly, food and drinks are brilliant. Quality and freshly prepared, served with passion to your lane. Great staff
Secondly, every effort is made to make every visit special. Staff really do move mountains and communication is excellent.
The hidden gem is Stuart and his team. Not only do they provide lessons for beginners and more experienced bowlers, but they foster those with enthusiasm and talent. My youngest son has really benefited from the friendly and free advice both from Stuart, his team and other bowlers.
Do not just buy your first ball on line. Ask Stuart to set a ball up specifically for you and engrave it. His passion, knowledge and skill are peerless and you will be delighted with his service. We have, as a family, purchased balls from him. Two delighted children and one adult. The difference is tangible and our enjoyment far superior to other less customer driven bowling alleys. We are not very good but this is about having fun!
Small, perfectly formed bowling experience that will make memories. Flawless facilities and service, just a wonderful, hard working team.
Stuart and your team thank you.

Read moreLovely place to bowl. Not to expensive for a treat, but I did see there where offers for booking online etc, so definitely check out the website for deals before popping in. They had a few birthdays parties, which added a nice atmosphere, but not so many that we felt like outsiders. Lots of ramps and lighter balls for the little ones spread around, and lots of other families bowling too. There is a small soft play area here for the little ones. It's an extra £2.95 per child for an hour, so be aware of that if your going with kids. My small human rapidly lost interest in bowling for the lure of a play area. Cafe prices for drinks where reasonable, it was around £4.50ish for a cup of tea, bottle of water, and a slush. We didn't eat so can comment on that. Staff where friendly and polite. Overall a nice treat, and we will...
Read moreWe visited Bromborough bowl yesterday evening, via a Groupon deal. Which was excellent value for money.
The staff where brilliant, really accomodating when a few family members got lost on route.
The children loved the experience as did the adults, great way to celebrate my son's 13th Birthday.
Each deal came with 2 large pizza's with a choice of two toppings, which went down a treat with the small people. We had two lanes booked side by side which accommodated the 11 players with ease.
The bar offered a variety of drinks, not the cheapest but you can't complain when you've got the bowling for next to nothing.
Would definitely recommend it was a good laugh, enjoyed by all and nothing like some friendly competitiveness amongst family.
Great location, accessible parking and...
