Burger King — Restaurant in Wirral

Ordered cheese whopper meal when cashier offered a deal to me. He claimed they had a promotion that if I pay another £1.70 towards the meal then the drink is refillable for the rest of the day. When I got the meal the burger patty was room temperature and the cheese was still slightly frozen so I rightfully complained and the cashier was rude. Never gave me money back and when I walked away to grab my things to leave I could see in the kitchen he was taking the mick out of me with his co workers so i came back 30 minutes later to get refill before watching a movie at the odeon cinema across the road and a new cashier who seemed to of only just got in to work said they don’t do a refill promotion and labelled me a liar! And then told me to get out of the store and tried to grab the cup out of my hand so I left the store. One of the worst food experiences in my life never going back and I have seen many others have wrote 1 star reviews so I doubt the location will last another 2 months before going bankrupt. Another thing I would like to point out is that there were only 2 tables of customers inside so obviously the business is not doing as good as the ones in Birkenhead and New Brighton. On 1 final note if I could I would give this place 0 stars I have never made a review of a restaurant before in my life that is how poorly treated I was definitely do not bring your kids here! Shocked to be leaving a 5 star review for a BK. My last BK experience was so bad (Norfolk Airport, Virginia) that I haven't been back in a decade!

But this Bromborough branch was a very pleasant surprise. Ordered a double Whopper and it was just excellent. Definitely better than anything I've had at McDonald's. The only downside is that the patties still look truly weird to me. But I can't argue with the taste of the overall burger due to the super-fresh toppings and general quality of the Whopper. French fries also a nice surprise. Freshly hot and very tasty.

Five Guys is opening up next door and 48 hours ago I'd have said they're going to wipe BK off the map in Brom but having had plenty of Five Guys over the years I honestly think the Whopper can compete? Might actually be a superior overall sandwich somehow?

But again, as long as you don't look at BK's martian-style patties!

I was perhaps most shocked by how friendly the staff were. The Bromborough McDonalds folks aren't a bad lot but they all seem like they're only there to serve out a community service sentence? I'm not sure if they're really good at hiring or maybe BK has an unusually good work culture but either way I was impressed and hope it...

Actually we had to have a kfc take out after ordering on your app at 7-10 and driving 6 1/2 miles to your Bromborough store to pick it up to be told as a matter of fact by your abrupt staff that I’d have to pick up my purchase tomorrow (( really ??)) as they were closed and it is unfortunate for me that they can’t change closing times on the app… how silly of me to order within the advertised opening times. Disappointed I asked for a refund to be told that it was up to me to sort out myself on the beloved app. Which we don’t seem able to do.

Your staff were lazy, shoddy abrupt and rude and how dare they treat me in this manner. In the modern world I cannot believe you operate an app that cannot be updated to the correct opening times, again lazy and shoddy.

Please inform at earliest opportunity to how we get our refund back for the meal we paid for in good faith but were denied because of poor business policy. How dare we be treated so flippantly by lazy customer service attitudes.

For these reasons I shall look elsewhere to get takeaways, but I will persist to get our refund and if I am still disappointed I will be contacting appropriate authorities as I am within my...
