Subway — Restaurant in Wirral

Giving 2 stars just because I think its still good, not seen it dirty as other have mentioned however, the older woman who works there on weekends is rude or butts in every time.

First issue I ever had was I ordered online (I always have deals when ordering online) and then waited in the queue and stated I had ordered online to which she said "then you will have to wait until your order is finished." I said but I waited in queue so I wasn't pushing in and she refused until a manager told her to do it.

Second issue again I ordered online, sat at the table for about 15 minutes while I watched queue drop to 0. Instead of doing the order, she just took the time to stand around talking to the other staff. Bare in mind she was the one who started the process on each sub. The getting the bread, cutting and adding the first ingredients but thr other 2 would also be to blame but i havent seen them since. Another customer came in, and then another. After she served the first person I piped up asking if she was going to do my order, the customer was apologetic and I said it was fine and just that I'd been waiting 15 mins for her to do it and that it had been empty before he got to the queue. She tried again with the "wait for it" but the manager again told her to do it

Third time going in, third time shes been an issue. I order 3 x 6 inches and 1x foot long. They gave 4 x 6 inches, meaning I was missing half a sub. I took it to the till and spoke with a young girl about to give her the receipt and once again the older lady pipes up "he ordered 4 x 6 inches". I just handed the receipt over and got another 6 inch to make it up to a footlong

I'm surprised only one other reviewer had mentioned her attitude. I'm not of the idea the customer is always right, but she seems to have the opposite of, the customer is...

There was only one staff member on and there was 2 people behind me and 2 people. I think his name was Harry, a youngish lad, he took forever to make the sandwiches, he was looking around and wasn’t really paying attention to what he was doing, at one point, a sub he was making nearly fell into the salad, and he just did everything so slowly, I felt as if he was doing it on purpose, he obviously had no clue what he was doing, because he toasted one sandwich at a time when he could have made 2 and toasted them both, and he obviously had very little experience with tills. But eventually a more experienced member of staff came out from the back and did an amazing job very quickly. Oh and I forgot to mention that I saw him either sneeze into his hand or wipe his nose with his gloves on, then wipe it all over the wood wall by the drinks and then made the next one without changing gloves, an absolute...

Me and my husband walked into subway yesterday as there was a special offer on the staff made us feel unwelcome so we decided not to go for the food but we still ordered two lattes after that we decided to look for a table even though the place was empty and we were the only customers the tables where mostly full of rubbish, the time we were there the members of staff were sat talkingi n one of the booths. one they've had my links to clean and they were sat there me and my husband sat across from them and we have to put somebody else's rubbish in the bin all in view of the two members of staff my husband went to the toilet and he said it was like it hadn't been cleaned in a month I don't know what is going on with this subway weather if it is the staff or management but when it first opened it was the best one around here please can we try to get back to...
