Disappointed by our visit to Junglemania, so much so, I'm actually writing this review before we've even left.
Given that a lot of the indoor play areas locally are gone, it doesn't leave much option to go anywhere else. The centre is very small and intimate, which is not always a bad thing, but, I've watched people wondering where they're going to sit. Personally, I feel that tables should be booked and arranged by party size to avoid any further disappointment.
Upon entry, the guy that greeted us seemed pleasant enough, but it is very clear there isn't enough staff to fulfil the needs of the business, which given the prices is a mystery. This brings me on to my next point. Waiting time for food is atrocious, none of the food came out together and the wait time for TOAST has superceded the 30min mark... Toast?!!
Back to pricing. The cost of a bacon 'roll' is £3.95. What came out on the plate looked as if it cost 50p, no exaggeration. The bap was less than the size of a saucer in diameter, contained no butter, the bacon so crispy it just fell to crumbs as soon as you attempted to pick it up, seeds on the bap without fear of allergy and a pot of ketchup (almost bigger than the roll itself) again without knowing of allergies (ketchup or seeds not mentioned on menu).
The play area itself isn't as expansive as some of the other indoor play areas and due to the danger element, one area not in use yet still accessible, so naturally young children have entered the area only to have the Manager approach them, with a megaphone no less, to ask them to get out... If it isn't safe, it shouldn't be here. Children explore, so why would they not go in there if its not sealed off properly?!
Overall, I think the price is too much for the 'quality' of the centre (RE a reply I saw to an earlier review), the staff are quite clearly struggling to deal with the volume of custom and the Manager clearly lacks the ability to complete hid role. All in all, if this venture continues to fail in certain areas, it will continue to receive negative reviews, and eventually lose custom.
Luckily, children at this age are too naive to spot the issues......

I Visited Jungle Mania Yesterday 19/08/16 With My Two Children 6 & 2 And My Sister In Law With My Niece 5 And My Other Sister In Law. First Impressions To Say The Least We're Hardly Good. It Was A Rainy Day And We Arrived To Find That The Door Was Open Although A Piece Of A4 Paper States That The Door Is Not To Be Left Open!! We Then Walked Through A Short Corridor Past A Very Smelly Toilet, Through The Door Which Wasn't Secure ( Easy For Children To Simply Walk Out Of If Parents Weren't Paying Attention). We Were Stood At The Reception/Coffee Bar/ Deli Counter (It's All One) To Be Served By The Manager Who Was Quite Rude, We Paid For Our Children And Went To Find A Place To Put Our Things, We Sat On What Seemed To Be A Faux Leather Sofa Bed!! The Coffee Table In Front Of Us Was Filthy!! A Miserable Member Of Staff Came Over And Sprayed The Table Half Wiped It And Just Walked Off!! Our Children Asked For Lunch So We Ordered A Children's Jacket Potato With Tuna (COLD AND INEDIBLE), A Veggie Platter (Carrot Sticks, Cucumber Sticks, Yellow Pepper, Baby Tomatoes And Bread Sticks With A Cheese & Chive Dip) The Carrots Were Slimy And Had A Weird Smell To Them And The Dip Was Warm, A Jungle Box (Sandwich, Carton Drink, Fruit, Chocolate, Yoghurt And Crisps) The Carton Was Warm, The Yoghurt Was Warm And Had A Film Over The Top, The Sandwich Was Warm With A Sticker Stating Sunday, I Personally Wouldn't Make A Sandwich And Leave It For Two Days Especially Warm. The Play Equipment Was Dirty Too, In The Far Left Corner Of The Play Equipment Is Dark With No Lighting Whatsoever, Some Children Found This Quite Daunting. The Under 2's Area Was Also Quite Dirty This Part Is Right Next To An Open Shutter, My 2 Year Old Played In This Area For Minimum Time As When He Went Up To The Top Of The Slide He Came Down It With Bird Poo On His Arm!!! To Say The Least I Am Disgusted With The Health And Safety Measures In This Place Also The Hygiene Needs A Substantial Amount Of Work!!
DISGUSTING DIRTY PLACE!!! UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN!!!
Needless To Say We Will NEVER Be...

My 4 year daughter spent 5 minutes in their spider crawl and complained of weird sensations on her arms and back. When we looked she was covered in burn marks from the equipment (see photos). She was wearing a shirt that covered her arms.
Her 5 year old friend who was there suffered similar burns. And when I complained to the shift manager, a woman heard my complaint and said her 8 year old son was left covered in burn marks on his back and arms last week from the spider crawl.
When I complained to the manager, he "levelled with me" and said they couldn't offer a refund because if they did refunds with the amount of complaints they are getting there wouldn't be a business. I asked them to at least stop children going on the spider crawl, which again he said he couldn't do anything about it and asked me to send an email.
My wife sent an email and they have once again refused to refund and aren't changing anything about the spider crawl section.
The place is in really poor condition and mostly held together by gaffer tape. And having read other reviews now, there are reports of exposed bolts and sharp edges. I believe this place to be unsafe for children and have reported them to the Health & Safety Executive and Health Environment. Atrocious...
