Very disappointing experience. I had my food and coffee (had a breakfast) , then stepped out for about 10 minutes due to an urgent situation with my daughter. When I returned, I was told I had to order again or leave — even though I had just ordered less than 30 minutes earlier.
I understand a coffee shop isn’t a waiting room and that customers are expected to order — but I had already ordered. Expecting someone to buy two coffees back-to-back in such a short time is unreasonable.
When I tried to explain the situation, the woman in charge spoke to me in a very rude and inappropriate manner. They may think that strict rules like this will help them make more money, but in reality, it only pushes away regular customers.
Update: I’ve seen the owner’s reply, and it’s disappointing — not just because of the false accusations, but because it completely ignores the actual issue. I didn’t shout or act aggressively. I was clearly upset, yes — but only because I was being ignored while trying to explain myself. If you’ve checked the CCTV, I hope you also watched the part where I was told to place two separate orders within less than 1 hour. That’s what led to the frustration — not “bad attitude.” I have no intention of continuing this further, but I stand by what I experienced. Waitress busy outside on her phone, scruffy clothes, no apron or protective clothing hair all over the place, sandwiches burning. No interest in the customer in front of me who had been trying to get her food and drinks. Waitress made her go and sit down, still didn't attend to the previous customer's food which burnt again literally threw her drinks into cups, milk spilling everywhere she then complained to me about the customer, very embarrassing. Just had a take away and left as quickly as possible. Whole preparation area filthy. Staff didn't want to be there as apparently it should have been her day off.
