This is a gem of a place that has a broad menu at reasonable prices and a really nice look. We were a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their food. The menu contains some unusual options as well as some more standard: I had a jackfruit burger. Having never heard of a jackfruit I was really curious and it made for a nice veggie alternative. The staff were all really friendly and working hard to cope with the numbers inside. The payment set up is odd. In all other ways this is like a nice restaurant with waiters, but ordering drinks and food is a real pain as there is one point of order and the queue was out the door when we were ready to order food. On arrival we just ordered a round of drinks and looking around at locals they clearly had it sussed to order everything at once, meaning only queuing once. But this meant cold beers/drinks were left waiting... We went on the hottest day of the year and really needed drinks to be readily available but ended up queueing for 40 mins. There is two water readily available from a separate, self-serve counter but this was warm when we arrived, and so not great to drink. We went on a Monday night for the quiz which was really well planned and good fun. Proceeds went to charity. They do deals on Mondays and Tuesdays where a glass of wine or a pudding comes free with a main course (Tuesday is tapas night), which works out a...
Read moreThe cosy interior buzzes with lively chatter as locals and visitors alike gather for their favourite week/end rituals: brunch and dinner. Sunlight streams through the large windows, casting a warm glow over the mismatched wooden tables and chairs. The menu boasts an array of mouthwatering options, from fluffy Bacon Triple-Stacked Buttermilk Pancakes drizzled in maple syrup to Shakshuka with chorizo topped with perfectly poached eggs. For dinner try out Cheeky Mondays or Taco Tuesdays where there is always a deal to be had! Although a chain, their food is good, staff are friendly and the prices won’t make you bankrupt!

Read moreOrdered the lamb flatbread- disappointed with the amount of meat and presentation- it looked like a cheap pizza from Tesco. Menu is lacking good proper meals - they used to do fab hearty stuff like lamb shanks. Bosco is great for a bacon butty and a coffee or a cocktail/burger but is uninspiring generally. The waitress although charming delivered our food but refused to go the extra mile when we asked her for drinks, despite her being not busy and the bar less than 4 feet away. She referred us to the app and in the end we walked the 4 feet to the bar and ordered the drinks from her while the food was getting cold. She could have helped us out a bit! Am sure Bosco will say this their policy etc. overall experience not great and seventy quid lighter (this price doesn’t justify the food or service) the half pint beer glasses are like you’d get at your mums -...
