The Fish Factory

Interesting traditional service which doesn't feel very modern -like it's trying to be fine dining but without the fine dining menu- not sure where it's meant to sit. Has a kids menu but it's limited and although this is a fish restaurant not many kids fish options. The kids' good was good quality and came with veg. We had the fish and chips: fish was good but no sides came with it -not even a salad garnish- I didn't think the price justified ordering extra sides like peas etc. We also had the bouillabaisse which was over the top with fish and shellfish. It would have been better if there was less in there and you could tell what you were eating. As it was there was far too much to eat without getting a sense of the flavour and skill in cooking it. It felt like the fish had been killed just for the sake of it! The waiter was very attentive and the decor is nice and light.
