We went to The Fish Factory in Worthing tonight, and honestly everything was spot on! 😍 We kicked things off with a prawn cocktail, king prawns, baked camembert, and calamari, all fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked 👌 For mains, we had the seafood platter, a juicy steak with hand-cut chips, peppercorn sauce and peas, plus the mixed hot seafood sharer for two with lobster, sardines, whitebait, and calamari, all served with chips and a crisp green salad 🦞🥗 But the mussels… oh my god the mussels stole the show! Me and Fi both said they were a solid 10/10. 🫶 Service? Friendly and attentive. Atmosphere? Relaxed but lively. Food? Fresh, generous, and full of flavour. Definitely one to put on your Worthing foodie list! 💯 #seafoodlover #worthingfoodanddrink #worthingrestaurants #foodtok #worthing

We revisited the Fish Factory after hearing that it was now under new management and wanted to support them, so we paid a visit on Friday evening. The menu is mostly unchanged, sharing a 2 course fish meze platter for 2 and a pudding. The meze starter lacked sauces and, as such, was quite bland and no longer comes with mussels as it did prior. The main was packed with various high-quality fresh fish and was seasoned well, but again, it is no longer accompanied by either chowder or curry, which is a shame as this was a highlight on previous visits. The Irish coffee was well made and enjoyable, but the cherry bakewell tart was served with custard that was tepid at best. The tart itself was sweet and flavorful but not overwhelmed by any one flavour. Service was not as engaging or friendly as usual this time, but it was not by any means bad. Hopefully, these issues are just teething problems whilst the staff and business get to grips with the new way of operating. This is still one of the better establishments in Worthing to get great quality and tasting fish courses, so it is definitely worth trying!

The last time I was here was in 2023… for some reason Google doesn’t allow a new review just updates. Anyway I think the restaurant has changed hands recently but the quality of the food was just as good. Had the calamari, fish & chips, fish pie. All tasty and very good value. Could have done with an extra staff member as the poor waiter was running around but all in all just as good as last time (2023) Lovely restaurant with nice staff. Sitting outside in the sun was great even if on a busy road. Calamari was some of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Dressed crab was fresh & salad accompaniment was lovely. Fish tacos were a big portion & all chips were homemade. 2starts 2 mains and a bottle of wine for just under £70. Excellent

Interesting traditional service which doesn't feel very modern -like it's trying to be fine dining but without the fine dining menu- not sure where it's meant to sit. Has a kids menu but it's limited and although this is a fish restaurant not many kids fish options. The kids' good was good quality and came with veg. We had the fish and chips: fish was good but no sides came with it -not even a salad garnish- I didn't think the price justified ordering extra sides like peas etc. We also had the bouillabaisse which was over the top with fish and shellfish. It would have been better if there was less in there and you could tell what you were eating. As it was there was far too much to eat without getting a sense of the flavour and skill in cooking it. It felt like the fish had been killed just for the sake of it! The waiter was very attentive and the decor is...
