Goldspot Pens — Attraction in Aberdeen Township

Although I left a review previously, I feel the need to come here and revise my thoughts a little bit. I am so grateful to have found Goldspot pens. Their team truly works hard to give their customers the best experience possible. Got questions? Give them a call! Their staff will do whatever it takes to answer all your questions and concerns. Not happy with a product you’ve ordered? What and see if you don’t get immediate attention to the matter, for a quick resolution. And one that makes YOU as the customer, 100% satisfied. Communication with these kind folks, is on point. When a company says that they’re here for you, I would normally just take that as bs, but not with Goldspot. Their website is easy to navigate, and checkout is a breeze. Product availability and options are crazy! Shipping is fast (even for the free option!), and every order is packed with care and attention to detail. Between their website and socials, they offer great educational content, which is a bonus if you’re new to fountain pens. Overall I would say I absolutely 10/10 highly recommend Goldspot for ALL your writing needs. And I do believe, if you don’t have just the most amazing buying experience with them, then it could be your own doing. I can't overstate how good it is doing business with Goldspot. There are quite a few online retailers of fine writing instruments and I've used a few of them, but it's Goldspot all the way for me. For starters-GREAT product selection, and not just fountain pens (want a nice mechanical pencil or a good rollerball? Goldspot has you covered!) Secondly, they have a fantastic Youtube presence that is filled with very little fluff, and great information. Third (and sometimes the most important), their shipping is amazing. I just ordered another Sailor 1911L (my 3rd "high end" pen purchase from them), at 1pm West Coast time on a Thursday. The economy shipping was supposed to have it arrive in 4-10 days. Here it is SATURDAY MORNING and the pen is in my hands getting inked up for the first time. Basically a day and a half to ship across the country! I've ordered from other online retailers and I have to wait 4 days at times just for my order to get into "processing" status! Goldspot does their shipping right! They even threw in 4 new ink samples for me to try out. I want to keep this short. I had two purchases, both times I called in and spoke with this same lady. The first time she was great and helpful, so I bought something, the second time I called in with a question it was the same person but was short and rude as hell. I’m sure someone will say “maybe it’s a bad day” but honestly I don’t care and I’m so tired of this attitude with westerners that’s “the customer is the enemy or problem” no we are not. We are not the problem. You literally exist to serve us in exchange for money. Where I come from people get their house burned down for talking down to customers rudely. A little off topic here but I was extremely disappointed as it’s so hard to find online retailers who don’t advertise how woke they are and that was why I wanted to buy things from them but I think after this I’m just going to step back from the pen hobby and wait until I go back to Japan this fall to buy anymore pens,ink or paper. I was really sad about that last interaction. Pen and ink was great though and happy with my sailor and pilot. The rest of the aspects of my purchase was fine. Not sure what happened that day but...
