Kurt Cobain’s Childhood Home — Attraction in Aberdeen

Kurt’s childhood home was a very special experience. It was really cool to see and take pictures. Aberdeen itself is a small town that feels like it was left back in time, it felt very old school- the entire town did really. The people of the town we came across were very nice and many have such great stories to tell. Only issue is the obvious one of people on drugs around town, I really wanted to go under the bridge but the cart full of stuff and people I over heard under there and lighting up some stuff- we decided not to. I wish for this place to continue being well kept for. Please be respectful of the surrounding residents, no littering...

It's just a house in a very depressing, little town but that's the point. You get to see where Kurt grew up and feel the misery in his music. I imagined him walking around the neighborhood on the same streets that you, yourself can walk on. If you're a Nirvana fan, you should check it out 100%

Worth a quick drive by to say you saw it. Close to another Cobain must-see, and part of some pretty cool things to check out when you're visiting what I consider an underrated community. The whole GH area has something to offer...
