The staff is generally nice but... it's loud. Slamming doors, the people above you sound like a herd of cattle, flushing of toilets, slamming of cabinet doors... not a peaceful stay, at all. I've been here all week and I'm leaving early just to get a quieter location.
Also, the WiFi works sometimes. Not all the time. It's up and down, up and down.
And although there is a face mask required sign on the front door, not even all the staff adhere to the rule. Either you do or you don't; don't put up a sign and then both ignore it and not enforce it when guests enter public spaces.
If you decide to try it despite some of the reviews, great! Bring your own towels (these are like sandpaper!), and some earplugs. Good luck!
Edit in response to Owner/Manager: The noise was not due to just the kids (they were loud yes, but they arrived on Friday - I had been there since Monday). And yes, I had to call to ask someone to quiet down the people above me. It was addressed by the person quieting down for awhile, then they checked out the next day. That doesn't fix the cabinet and room door hinges being worn out and not slowly closing like they should. The walls are good but "soundproof" means just that. I shouldn't hear the neighbors getting in and out of their fridge that is in a cabinet.
Most of your staff is great. The ones not following the posted mask policy, and not enforcing it with other guests, are not so great. The guy in the electrical room spewing profanity, not too great. The manager who went to speak with him right after I walked by (with nobody else around), not so great. He glared at me every time I saw him from that moment on. I was not comfortable even letting him see which room I went into, he made me so uncomfortable.
Whomever the person is answering to all of the posts here... you're very defensive when someone brings an issue up. Always, you provide a "but..." Just accept the criticism, do what you can, and move on. Feedback is a good thing to help your business but all you do in response to it as deflect and defend. There are corrections and changes you can make to reduce these types of reviews. Focus on what you CAN do, and see what sort of responses you...
Read moreNo stars! This is why! We reserved our reservation as we normally do, however, something changed. We been coming to this hotel for years! When we got in late, wife went to the room as I tried to find a parking spot. She came back to me in the parking lot saying the room was not as we reserved and the hallway smelled of pot! When I went to go in to the lobby, I could smell it as well. I asked the reseptionist that I could smell pot, she said that they have had lots of complaints that night. After the wife telling me that our room was not as what we reserved and that the dang hotel lobby and hallways smelled of pot, I asked for my money back. I refuse to expose my kids to this type of environment. She called the manager and that's when it went from worse to bad. Instead of returning our money and a simple sorry, he continued to play games over the phone with my wife, stating that we just was playing a game and wanting our money back to stay at a friends house. No, no! At 12:30am in the morning with two kids! We was told we wasn't getting our money back unless we proved we had a receipt from another motel. At 1:00am, and now pissed off, we left, drove 60 miles and went to another motel where we have stayed before! Way, way, way better! Won't be staying in Aberdeen anymore, would rather drive 60 miles and pay way more money! In all my years of going to this place, we will not be going back. Neither will any of my family or friends. If this is the way that they want to run a business of having people smoking pot in a non-smoking rooms when we spend our hard earned money, they will not get any business from any of our family again. I don't know if this is how BW runs their motels, but this manager guy needs to learn a little bit of hospitality and compassion with a family with kids! This was the worst experience I have ever had with this hotel motel chain. They way this manager is running this motel might as well be a hotel no-tell drug house! We loved coming here, but this is now under "NEW MANAGEMENT" oh and yes we filed a report with the better business Bureu! We are still waiting...
Read moreI typically don’t leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help others stay safe. My recent stay at this hotel was not only disappointing but also deeply concerning for personal safety.
Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed a punch hole in the bedroom door, a clear indicator of previous disturbances and lack of proper maintenance. The room itself was dirty, poorly maintained, and did not feel secure.
Outside the hotel, things were even more unsettling. There were visible instances of drug use and homeless individuals fighting near the property. To make matters worse, a loud train passed by at midnight, lighting up the entire room and making it impossible to sleep.
I attempted multiple times to contact the front desk regarding these concerns, but no one ever answered the phone. After four days of waiting to hear back, I finally spoke with Lisa, who identified herself as both the manager and the district manager. She informed me that the owner is aware of the issues but does not care, and that having security cameras outside is the extent of their efforts. I was also told no refund would be issued, despite the clear safety concerns.
This experience was not only uncomfortable — it was genuinely frightening. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to prioritize your safety and choose another location. The condition of the room, the environment surrounding the property, and the complete lack of customer support all point to a business that is neglecting both its guests and basic standards of care.
Please avoid this location for your...
