SoDA District Courtyard — Attraction in Abilene

Tim, Pam, and their team at SoDA District Courtyard are amazing. I’ve had the privilege of watching them build this beautiful space over the last few year, and they have put so much thought into every detail.

I was so excited to book this venue for our wedding in August. Tim and Pam made it easy for me to see the venue as many times as I wanted and made the booking process super easy.

Unfortunately, on the morning of our wedding, there was an electrical issue THAT WAS IN NO WAY THEIR FAULT OR RESPONSIBILITY, that forced us to not be able to use the venue.

Despite the fact that this issue was in no way Tim’s fault or responsibility, he jumped into action immediately and used his relationships and connections to help us obtain a new reception venue - within an hour. Allowing our wedding to start on time. And even gave us a full refund.

Tim and Pam character, hospitality, and business ethics instantly make this venue a great choice. Plus, it is absolutely beautiful. We’re already looking forward to an opportunity to do something in this space and work...

This is a very well kept and quaint space. The outdoor garden area is very nice. The reception was held inside the building to the South, and it is very nice and cool on a hot day. Then, the dance later in the night was in the old building ruins with the fountain in the middle. All three spaces have a shabby modern look paired with an old 'ruins' feel to it. There were about 140 people or so in the reception building and it was too crowded but it definitely didn't feel empty either. This is a very neat space to...

Such a beautiful venue! Attended a wedding and it was absolutely stunning. Suites for the bride and groom is gorgeous. The ceremony was held outside under a gazebo. Dinner was served inside. This venue had a fridge to hold beverages/food. The counter top could be a bit longer, but works if the menu is limited. If needed you are able to rent the other courtyard with the fountain if needed. Great place to hold a small to larger crowd. Highly recommend! I would suggest booking early....
