Lone Star Dry Goods — Local services in Abilene

Only been to the Icehouse which is LSDG’s restaurant that is attached. Seen Chris Knight acoustic in concert here in early Sept. Paid over $100 for a bar top table for 2. We had to share it with another couple. Fried pickles were not the best. Very lightly battered…no crunch…they almost had no batter. The fried Mac and cheese on the other hand was amazing, delicious and spicy.

The venue was horrible listening to music. Adjacent tables were rather close and talked and laugh the entire night…couldn’t hear the music/signing.

The waitress and the host who sat us were pretty short and almost rude. Made us feel like we were inconveniencing them.

Disappointed in our experience all together. May be back for an appetizer and a drink…but will not be going to...

Department store prices and Walmart service. I was thrilled to find a local seller of Orvis, Simms and Patagonia. Unfortunately, mine will be a one-time visit. I asked about the fitting room and got a head-nod toward a curtained area. I prefer little or no attention as a customer but theirs borders on indifference. Not even a "thank you" after completing my transaction. I want to buy local but loyalty is a two-way street. This store hasn't...

WOW! I ordered a BRCC coffee mug from Lone Star Dry Goods, and they did a wonderful job packing it for shipping to prevent and damage or breaking as it traveled from Texas to New England. They included three really cool and quality stickers in the box also. If that wasn’t enough, a personal note thanking me for my purchase on the receipt was the finishing touch to make me a return customer. Thanks again for a great shopping...
