iTea Alameda — Restaurant in Alameda

I had a horrible experience with the customer service provided to me today (6/7 at 2:30pm). It was just me, my mom and my sister buying drinks at the Alameda shop location, located at park street. Horrible! We gave our order in and wanted to ask for some napkins. None of the workers heard us so my mother decided to just grab a few out of her convenience. The worker saw and slapped her hand and said "you should've called me until I notice your existence". Totally disrespectful to her elders. I can't believe such service was made at a local store. The workers started arguing with my mother and before we left, swore at us and put up their middle finger to us as we took our leave. I am indeed shocked at this experienc. I hope workers there were given much reflect in their behaviors and their professionalism.

Definitely not worth coming here. Food & drinks were super expensive for just a mid-day snack. In total, I spent about $30+ for just 3 drinks & 1 snack. I could definitely get a better quality food & drink some place else with BETTER SERVICE THAT KNOWS HOW TO RESPECT...

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! i placed an online order ($40 in total!!) and showed up to pick it up in store and was told they couldn’t add an item because they needed .50 cents. no problem! they can’t charge my card for 50 cents bc it’s a $5 limit, so i asked to cancel the order and just reorder the way i wanted. i was told the system in store was not connected to online orders. i leave with my drink (not done the way i wanted and was ready to pay for) and called the number posted online where i ordered. a very rude employee answered the phone and yelled saying that what i said was untrue and that they could have refunded me and redid the order and she began to demand i bring everything back to get it fixed. I’ve been coming here for years since high school but after today, I will never come here again ! disgusting way to act over 50 cents when the order was...

What a waste of time. I ordered the Japanese egg tofu, there was no line of people before or after I ordered, yet my order was still not ready after 20 minutes!! I did inquire about my order after 10 minutes and was told that there was an issue with the sauce so they had to do another batch. But after another 10 minutes when I asked if the order was almost ready, the young women, who went to check again, started scolding whoever was behind the curtain because apparently they never started cooking my order.

What a waste of time during my lunch break. At least the front staff was efficient with issuing a refund as I wasn't going to wait any longer for my simple little order.

iTea has some great drinks but I won't returing to that location again. There are plenty of other locations with a much more efficient and competent...
