Recently my husband and I bought a new sofa. Its actually more than a sofa. It has two Chaises and plenty of space to sit. You see Ashley's furniture being a bit higher. A 100 or 200. Come on. This is the meaning of; you pay for what you get. I purchased an extra 5 yrs warranty. Know one's gonna tell me I can't. Because i will. If you purchase the extra warranty. You're in control. I've given three sectionals away in the past year. Because i didn't do that. We went to Ashley's in Alamogordo. Renea was perfection. She knows her furniture and she knows her rules. She was kind and fun. We went all over that store. She was fantastic. But she found what i wanted. Then when delivery came. The young men were phenomenal. They were professional. I Asked them to put trash bags on over their boots because of the mud. . No problem. They were very Professional.. very very professional .The place was very clean and the decor was beautiful. Read moreI had a pleasant experience purchasing my sectional that wasn’t at their physical store, as they ensured me they could get whatever I found online. The sales associates were very nice. But once it finally arrived, it was not what I was expecting. They were quick to mention their “all sales are final” that’s printed boldly on the invoice, and quickly wiped their hands clean of the situation. My sectionals chaise was on the wrong side; not at all what I remember discussing with the sales associate. However, to fix their error, they would have charged me a 15% restocking fee, and for a sectional nearly $2000 that’s not cheap. I’m not sure if all Ashley’s stores operate in this manner, but this stores’ policy was obviously created in a way to maximize their profits while limiting any and all liabilities…meanwhile the customer may not always get what they paid for. Read moreI’m not happy. The purchase and delivery was fine. The recliner that was delivered was lopsided and forced the user to slide to the side. The chair was delivered on July 5th and I called customer service a couple of days later. It is nearly October and have yet to get help with the issue. Through a text I was informed that when a tech comes to Albuquerque, he will repair the frame. No one can tell me when that will happen. I went back to the store and was told by a manager that he would get me some help w/I hours. That was August 31st. Again , no action. I have texted him last week and asked to have the chair replaced. Silence. I am ill and need the chair to sleep. I’m not getting as comfortable sleep as I need when I find myself in the corner of the chair. I would NOT recommend Ashley...
