White Sands Mall — Attraction in Alamogordo

If it's one thing that I really enjoy about this mall is the book store. With there being a lack of book stores and the nearest one being in Las Cruces, I feel like this is the only place where a bibliophile such as myself can really thrive. I wish that the family was more organize and perhaps open a Starbucks or coffee shop next to it. It would really attract people to go in and shop, and then stay a little longer for some drinks and pastries. There isn't a coffee shop on this side of town so I think it would be a success at the mall. Another thought is to open up a game stop. It would allow the game fanatics to shop around and enjoy a midnight game release in the mall. Its just so baron right now but I can see so much potential. It's disheartening to see such an establishment empty.

Believe it or not, there is a town book club who used to have their gatherings at Hastings. It's a group that I was a part of up until Hastings closed. The coffee was amazing and it made people stay longer to shop. Now, the book club is on hiatus since there really isn't a place that everyone can meet up where books, coffee and space are really available. Took my iPhone 14 to Cellsolutions and Repair in the white sands mall in alamogordo New Mexico as it had fallen off the car roof and was shattered front and back.

Cellsolution and Repair staff charged 350.00 to change out the front and back with non-apple after market parts. The phone then had a constant warning in the settings that indicated it was not functioning well with the after market parts....this possibility was never disclosed to me. Also the phone had a glitch on the screen that caused a giggle with every open tab. Took the phone back and was told the Repair could be redone but it needed a premium after market part and would cost more. Asked to just have my old parts put back so I could just take to Verizon for trade and get ready refund. Associate changed out the front to the origional and said he could not do the back. Got a $120 refund and could not have the old case back. Think carefully and ask a ton of questions before using...

Decent place to get out and walk. Very out dated like stepping into a time capsule to the 1970's. Would be great if they would do so renovations like a play area for the kids to escape the heat before mom and dad do some shopping. Looks to have plenty of restaurants for all different tastes didn't get a chance this time to eat but they smelled great and prices seemed good. Enough to give everyone in the family something different to eat while keeping you from having to go to 4-5 separate places. There are some new shops opening up like Harbor Freight, Melrose and room for more. Next door a Hobby Lobby is getting built and is moving along fast now that they were able to start. Some of the older stores have some issues but didn't seem to have the staff to do so. All in all nice to see a small mall still up and running with so much...
