The Anchorage Farmers Market at Cordova Street is small, but full of variety. You'll find vendors selling fresh cut Alaska flowers, family owned farms selling vegetables, and of course at least one vendor selling food. If you're looking for a quick stop on the way home then I recommend this Anchorage Farmers Market. My wife made a beet salad and an omelet from duck eggs; both were full of flavor. Remember to bring a bag to help carry everything.

You can pick up things like squash, kale, beets, duck or chicken eggs, pink oyster mushrooms, luttuce, carrots, or even fresh baked breads or sweets. Show up early if you want eggs, that was the only thing I noticed selling out quickly. Lots of available parking and parking is free. I would recommend bringing $20-40 CASH with you and a bag to carry...
