So how can this place right as a 2 overall, when the rooms, or at least our room, was relatively fine? I think it really just comes down to low standards. For instance, I plug in my computer in the breakfast room, and I'm thinking it's charging, but no. Turns out the outlet was broken. Turns out the ones in the middle are broken. Turns out the one in the lobby or near there are broken. Turns out the guy working at the front desk knows the two that are working and the breakfast nook. So, obviously not a new problem. This is just low standards, right? Does the GM not know about this? Why isn't there a reporting method for keeping track of things that don't work and then getting them fixed? I assume because it's not a priority. Yes, our room was overall fine, but the soap dispenser was left on the counter over by the sink outside of the shower, not lassoed up in the shower. Annoying as F when you don't have soap when you're all wet in the shower. And, another electrical outlet problem...the outlet didn't work on the left side of the sink (room 144). Little alignment issues were no one is feeling the empathy as if they were the customer. Key card doesn't work on the 2nd day of your visit such that you need to go back to the front desk to get it re-magnetized (or whatever they do)? Check. Coffee cups running out during breakfast and no one knows where they are? Check. Easternmost card reader allowing entrance from the outside with your room card instead of going all around the gated parking lot broken? Check. You get the idea. Yes, the staff is friendly and helpful, but it reminds me of the Burger King in Atlanta versus the Burger King in New Jersey, both of which I used to frequent. The one in Atlanta would always muff up the order, and then the hot girl would come out to your car window after 5 minutes with an extra fries or whatever and say I'm so sorry and her Sweet Southern accent. The cantankerous New Jersey girl would throw it through the car at the drive-thru, but everything would be perfect. And neither of these scenarios are ideal. So they were closer to the Atlanta scenario, the people paying more than 300 bucks a night are obviously hoping for the best of both worlds. One little good thing to note: they have a free computer and printer there to print things out, which is a nicety, and that...
Read moreThat the shampoo was good, there was not enough towels in the room hospitality at the front desk was not so good, our service dog was not allowed to stay at the hotel. Due to the fact that the daytime manager hates dogs.I really thought that they should offer some sort of food for in the morning everybody else does what's wrong with Sheraton four points they should at least offer a continental breakfast. Everything in the room was white which makes you afraid to sit or touch anything in love you the room. There was no bathroom fart fandue to the fact that they are trying to bust the people that rent rooms from them for maybe possibly smoking a cigarette so that they can gouge you for another$200 I think that if they did Les sleuthingand a little bit more customer service they might have got another star out of me overall the experience has left me that I will never rent from them again so I could be just a little biased but I thought they were very rude. My boss rented the room for Manhattan to be on his way too Cancun, the room bought and paid for online should have been any issue with them since you put my name down to rent a roombut without a $50 deposit from me and a signed affidavit stating that I could use his card they almost refused me the the room and almost put me out on the street with the fact you know how cold it is sorry I wrote a book on four points Sheraton four but I thought everybody should know that unless everything is booked up stay ...
Read more1st night our ac rattled harder than a can full of rocks, the tv wouldn’t change channels and the hotel smells mildew ridden. Later that night/morning we got transferred to the second floor which was the same but an upgrade to a new ac unit that wasn’t held together with literal scotch tape.
I complained about all that after and was awarded free breakfast (which surprisingly I got sick later after I ate it) thats over priced for what they charge for it seeing as it taste like it’s from frozen.
Letting that all go here I am 5th night in and I finally want to get a beer from the bar and someone took the only one possible key to it and now I can’t even get a beer that I am willing to pay for…. I finally complain and have had enough at this point. The front desk is helpful but not the manager or someone that can make a difference happen but they tried and are great for that. It just so happens the manager won’t be in till Saturday and all the from desk can offer is free drinks or something from the pantry for free which isn’t what I want. I want the problems fixed, some reassurance it will be better for the next because spending $2600 after saving for months to come here does not feel like I have had any value whatsoever after being here. I hope this review helps other seek residency at another hotel because Marriott has let this one and there name down with how it operates and the quality it thinks is acceptable...
