Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon to use the public ice skating area. It is nice that the city keeps it cleared off for the skaters and there are benches to sit and lace up your skates before stepping right out on the ice. The area is surprising large for an in town open skating area. And if the kids get enough skating in and they still want to play, the park has fun playground equipment to enjoy. There is a pavilion with picnic tables. The trash and recycling receptacles are the bear proof design. The parking lot is of ample size to fit quite a number vehicles. And there is also a coffee shop within 1 minute walking distance or less on the corner; where you could warm up with some of your favorite coffee or hot chocolate and snacks. The area when I was there was clean and the parking lot plowed off. The only thing that the city could improve here would be some sort of windbreak. I would recommend this park for a day of skating with the family...

Read moreIt’s a big park it’s in a great location on Muldoon. I got the jungle gym‘s, swings, and a beautiful Pavilion. There’s multiple spots for sitting such as- a picnic table or a bench. It’s got a large cement ring/circle which is great for skateboarding, rollerskating, & bicycling. In the winter they pour water all over the circle making it an ice rink which is wonderful...
