We recently visited Fairbanks for a vacation. However, we had a problem finding a hotel at first because many of them were fully booked. So, we called this hotel and talked to Jim, who made an effort to find us a room. His kindness and generosity made our entire trip possible.

When we arrived at the airport, we asked for a shuttle to the hotel, and Jim showed up promptly. He not only gave us a lift, but he also helped a stranger who was having difficulty finding a Taxi or Uber at the airport by offering to share the ride with us and bring her to her hotel, free of charge.

After further conversation with Jim, we realized that he is the hotel owner and had just taken over the business almost a year ago. They are new to the hotel industry, but they work very hard and try to make customers comfortable with their stay. He and his wife Mary are very nice and have a good heart to help people. Their staff is friendly, too. For example, I forgot to notify them that I needed a ride back to the airport the following morning to pick up a rental car. Yet, when I asked for it at 6 AM, the staff agreed to help immediately, even though he was the only person at the front desk to handle all of the customers' requests. We very much appreciated their service and hospitality.

Compared to other hotels with similar star ratings, this one offers a great value. The room, including the bathroom, is very clean, and the service is terrific. The location is close to the airport, supermarket, and restaurants- many of which are within walking distance. The breakfast is great too. They put the food in Ziploc bags, so it's very convenient to grab & go. Our stay was worth every penny. I highly recommend it and will come back again.
