A truley Alaskan little 9 hole golf course. A friend and I got chased by a moose who didn't like us playing through on hole 5. Black bear are also often spotted on the fairways or along the treelines of this course. When I played today I was told a black bear cub was spotted earlier on the course. Bear are not a problem though, they avoid contact and keep thier distance if they know your around. Moose on the other hand...usually not a problem (I thought till we got chased) but if in rut and a cow is close, bulls will attack. Or if they feel threatened. Moose seem to not have any fear of humans and can be very dangerous.
If you encounter one keep a good distance, they will usually give warning if getting too close. If they turn and face you, or look your way and lower thier ears, your about to get charged!
Nice place to practice. Many of the holes are quite narrow with woods on each side, accuracy required. My only dislike is that the greens are artificial and very fast, hard to keep a ball on them from any distance.
Hope to...

Before that, there had been other incidents similar but either they weren't directly involved or the incidents weren't as bad and didn't involve police. It's risky part of town. I'd...
