I went in and found a printer I wanted and saw that they had a discount for tradeing in old printers. I even asked one of the guys about it to be sure, and he confirmed it. So I went back home to get my printer, and returned. On the way in the floor manager asked me what my problem was with the printer. I told her I was trading it in, she was surprised and said, "We've got a trade in special going on", she didn't know but was still helpful at that point. So I got my printer to the counter, they didn't know how to handle it. They went to get the previous lady, who then brought another printer to the counter and said I had to buy it to get the discount. I told her that it said right there under the printer about the discount. She asked me to show her, everything still friendly, and I did. It was clearly marked right under the printer. Again, everything still friendly at this point, and I thought that would be it. But she left to investigate something, and while she was gone I looked over all the printers again and they all had the trade in discount. The more expensive the printer, the higher the discount. When she came back I tried to show her that, but now she had a real attitude, told me I needed to be quiet, that she knew what she was doing. As I said, an incredibally condescending attitude. I felt like I should leave then, but I had found the printer I wanted so I tried to wait for her to finish her investigation. It got testy and she kept telling me she was trying to make sure I got the right printer. I tried to tell her that the printer I picked out was the one I wanted, but she kept on, and with attitude. She obviously didnt care about me and what I wanted, and wasn't interested in selling me a printer. It was way beyond unpleasant. I'll never shop at Office Depot again, and I was a...
Read moreSo we found a computer and had to order it. Stated they would call when it came in. Of course that didn’t happen. My wife gets the tracking on the computer from the computer company saying it has been shipped and was there ant the store. She goes to the store to get the computer. She had already called the day before to tell them we wanted to get the anti virus and Microsoft loaded on it. After another $300 dollars, The man at Office Depot told her to just go get some lunch and he would get it loaded up on the computer.. My wife returns with no one at the computer service station with no one watching the loading which had stopped loading and no one knew because no one was watching it They then had to get on the phone with the tech support to get the programs loaded. After 3 HOURS finally got the computer done. They didn’t offer my wife a place to sit, she went and found a comfy office chair and sat down, or a discount for the inconvenience. The workers almost beat my wife out the door headed to the back once it was finally done. Terrible customer experience, but that is Albany, Ga for you!
Then they send a generic response about email this address with your review and name and telephone number. The email address is not even a valid email address according to Google or Microsoft!!! Got to love it! Customer service e at its finest. Office Depot could...
Read moreLosing a loved one, especially a parent, is a very traumatic and painful experience. There's so much to do and so many details to attend to on top of trying to process all those feelings. In the midst of all of this, I must take time to commend the team at the Office Depot in Albany, GA. They created an absolutely phenomenal customer satisfaction experience beginning with my first telephone interaction with Miranda who was so sweet, and helpful. When I actually came in-person, Laura greeted my family and me at the door with a warm smile and an empathetic ear. And then there's Kevin, the store manager, who based on his team's response to our needs, is an excellent leader. Kevin was so accommodating and helpful in making our family's needs a priority and ensuring we were satisfied with the final product of our loved one's program for the funeral services. And last but not least were Braesha and Evetta, who actually handled the print job. They were so patient and pleasant; and handled the job with such care, patience and meticulous attention to detail. Thank you Albany Office Depot Team!...
