Brillon Brothers Car Wash and Emissions Test — Attraction in Albuquerque

This has got to be the best car wash in town. There are a few reasons I say this and they start with the fact that they are well maintained. There is an attendant working most of the time keeping the machines full of the soaps and waxes. They also do emission testing there. The next thing I like is the atmosphere; the owners have signs banning loud music because they provide their own 50’s music. The price is incredible also as it is only $1.25 for a five minute wash. Like other places you get the one minute warning allowing you to insert more quarters. The change machine will break up to a $20 bill and I’ve never been short changed. They have soap brushes at each station that really work and are soft enough that they will not scratch your finish. They even have a old fashioned wringer for your drying towels. They finally there is a full assortment of cleaners and protective products in their vending machines. This place is the only place I’ll take my car to and they won’t...

I have been coming here for 3 years for emission testing, washing my cars, motorcycles, and trucks. I recently washed the bed of a truck out (as i have been doing for years). Whenever I am done washing the dirt and mud out of the back, I ALWAYS spray the bay down and pick up any trash. I have a family member that owns a car wash and I hated when people left it a mess. Half way through cleaning the truck bed, the attendant was very rude and told me I could not "bed dump" or wash the bed. It was not that he asked me not to do it, but the way he went about it. He asked me to sweep it up, which I had no problem doing but I was disgusted by the way he handled the situation with such a smirk and condescending attitude. I will consider doing my weekly washes of my vehicles elsewhere in the future. Overall, the place is great, but this one employee ruined any future business...

Same here. I like the place because you can tell the owners have pride. I met both owners and the are nice enough but I also had the experience of being treated rudely. I completely understand policy of no bed washing but they take it to the extreme. I was picking a handful (literally) of pine needles out of bed and was not just asked to refrain but I was treated with "aggressive " rudeness. I was surprised because as I said, the owners seemed nice enough and I just wrote it off as the person having a bad day. Thats why I was equally surprised to see the same reviews from others.
