Driving through going home to Texas and saw this place. Sure glad we did. The guy working there was very friendly and enthusiastic about their products and gave is plenty of samples. They pretty much have everything related to hatch chiles from salsa, to chips, to pickles, candy, dips and decorations. Be sure to try the New Mexico crack (similar to bukees nuggets). We got several bags. We also got some breaking bad blue rock candy...Very niche place but worth the stop. Highly recommended!

OMG! My favorite day of summer is when I can go to the Chile Store and get freshly roasted green chile. The staff is wonderful, the prices are right, and the chile tastes amazing. Interesting kitsch and food stuffs inside the store. Tell the chile roasting lady she is beautiful!

I won this Large Piquin heart at a the NAVHDA dog nationals. It was donated to the organization. When I went in to claim it, I was told they had no idea what it was. I should be honored either way.

Each year one way or another, we get our Hatch from Chili T's. This time it was extra remarkable. We had a delivery of an RV passing through Albuquerque on 40, just a few minutes away from their store. But we were running very late and was certain this years 40 pound purchase was going to fail. Thanks to Albert, Jennifer and Ken, nothing was going to block our way. Running 3 hours late, store closed at 6, unbelievably at first, but graciously all around, Albert took it on to stay and wait for our driver. For most this would be an odd request perhaps, especially as we deal with box stores. But not at Chili T's. I at first hesitated to even call, which I had done earlier in the day, but I did. I explained the situation, and the response was way over the top. Of course they would stay. Of course they truly understand customer service. The personal, the real kind..., was exciting. They are so knowledgeable and over the top enthusiastic about their store. I have no reason to ever go anywhere else. Thanks to everyone, we can now roast up some Hatch in DeBary, FLORIDA., Fun times here all thanks to a...

Highly Recommend Chile Traditions!

In an effort to support local small business, we purchased some frozen green chile to be shipped to our son in PA. We went to Chile Traditions at 8204 Montgomery and received outstanding service. We also purchased a red chile ristra and a ristra wreath as well as a few extra items to send to our son for his Christmas gift. They knew when to ship it to arrive in plenty of time and said it was guaranteed to arrive in top quality. Through no fault of their own, it was delayed several days in travel and ended up thawed and messy. We contacted them and, without question, they shipped a replacement package which is scheduled to arrive today. This type of customer service should be rewarded and they have our business for life! We already get our annual sack of roasted green chile from them and highly recommend that as well. In a time when our small businesses are suffering, I’m pleased to send this...

This little, family owned, local business is a great place to buy a gift for both tourists and locals! I found everything I needed and got quite a few things for myself as well. This is NOT the typical souvenir shop with cheap, overpriced, cookie cutter junk... it's full of beautiful and unique items, many locally made, and all at a fair price. I went in looking for a few gifts for some interns at work who are heading back to their home countries. Of course, I waited till the absolute LAST minute to shop for them and ran in 15 minutes before closing. The owner was there with his daughter and grandson and they were so accommodating. They showed me all around the store, helping me find exactly what I was looking for, more than happy to stay WELL after closing time. I could not possibly be more satisfied with my experience at this store, and will, without question, be returning regularly in the future. BTW, their own brand of hot sauce is...
