New review: came for a full service wash and didn't check carefully, cream left all over the dash, vinyl still filthy. Came back two days later when I had time, apparently they no longer guarantee for 48 hours. Manager was pretty sure I just dirtied my car up and came back for a free wash. Not impressed, won't be back.
TL:DR Double check their work, they WILL miss something, literally EVERY time, it's like a running joke now to see what they will not do even if you request/remind ahead of time. But sure, go here, it's your only option in this area for similar service and it's fun to look at the Breaking Bad memorabilia.
I think the positive reviews here are based mostly on the fact that this location used to do excellent work at an amazing price, before it was purchased by Mister Car Wash. At that time, it seemed prices rose dramatically and service went down at the same rate. I get my cars cleaned here frequently because honestly it is the most convenient full service wash to my home and I haven't found a better solution, all other carwashes also being bought up by Mister Car Wash. The staff is friendly and professional.
However, I now take it absolutely for granted that I must leave extra time to double check their work. I have not gone there in three years that they have not forgotten something, such as forgetting to clean out cupholders and door handles during a vinyl clean, leaving wet rags somewhere in the vehicle (I have quite a collection now), forgetting to vacuum an entire area (such as the third row of the van seating, one of the two second row captain's chairs, or the cargo area, or even the floor of the passenger seat in the front row, even though I now habitually open all the doors and say "please make sure you vacuum all areas, since I am a soccer mom I'm mostly here for that any way!"), not removing adhesive I specifically asked to have removed, or leaving visibly soiled spots (even some that I've specifically pointed out on arrival, such as sunscreen handprints near a door handle). Once they kept my radio antenna and I had to go back for it.
I lived outside of NM for many years and was accustomed to paying about half the price for truly top notch service and work, this seems to be just another way New Mexicans settle for mediocrity, because I don't think they'd stay in business like this elsewhere. It's so pervasive that it's clearly a systemic or management problem and not just a "people forget things once in awhile" problem. But hey, if you're willing to pay the price and to take a little extra time to double check their work and go through the line twice (plus put up with the weird convention that there is no clear indicator when they are finished most of the time, you just have to stand in the parking lot and try to guess when your car is ready), you can have a clean car you didn't...
Read moreI believe this is the first review I have ever posted on Google but felt the need for how bad the customer service was at this location. It was hands down the worst I have ever had. I took my wife's car through for a wash while on the way to Phoenix to trade it in. I have used this location in the past with no issues so I figured it would be the best place to go due to past history. I waited inside then went out to get into the car when it was ready. Immediately when I sat down I noticed a huge crack in the windshield, spanning from top to bottom almost. I was not mad and figured it would get taken care of. I got upset when the associate manager started looking at the windshield and blamed it on prior damage. He also blamed it on possible changing temperatures when it was 2 PM in the afternoon on a nice day. My wife's car was in mint condition for being a 2020 model and instead of helping me out as the customer all the management team could do was blame me and say it had to be prior and that there is no way out happened inside the car wash. All he could do to counter the points I made was come up with excuse after excuse and never put himself in my shoes as the customer. I filed a claim, knowing that they would not honor anything, but did it just to see if maybe the higher management would do something. I took the car to Phoenix and had a new windshield put in. Then I realized sitting there while it was being installed, I had taken photos of my wife's car that morning before going to the wash. There was zero evidence of damage to say the least. The chips they are claiming are in the top of the windshield where the tint brow is at and would be clearly visible in my photos. Finally, this morning I get a call from the store saying it would be denied due to prior damage. I asked for any proof or still shots from their cameras, which they said would have to go through the insurance department for and it would only be video. They have no still shots of the vehicle and could not prove that it didn't happen inside the wash. Also, on top of these excuses, the general manager of car wash couldn't even deliver the news, he/she had to have an associate manager call. They offered some free complimentary washes for the inconvenience which I turned down immediately. When this car wash was the "Breaking Bad" company, it was great. Now that it is owned by Mister Car Wash, this location could care less about its customers. If you want to take your vehicle to a business that puts itself above its customers, you have found the right place. I will not be back and will make sure to tell everybody I know how terrible of an experience I had. Thanks for the...
Read moreI have always used mister car wash to clean my truck and today was unacceptable and I am left without words at how I was treated. While I was waiting inside the building I was approached by a lady that I can only assume is the manager asking me if the Silverado truck belonged to me, she then proceeded to tell me that they had locked my keys inside. I understand that mistakes can happen and wasn’t going to complain , but her actions after made this situation horrible and unprofessional. We both walked out to my truck and she then approached the my car with a metal wire claiming she would use it to bend the door and unlock it. I was taken back but simply told her that I would get someone to bring me my spare key rather than damaging my vehicle. She got mad at me not letting her use the metal wire and walked away angrily and never came back. Not a single employee approached me while I waited for someone to bring me my spare key or not a single time did anyone apologize. Once I got my car open with the spare key I still needed the inside of my car cleaned because it had not yet been cleaned ( I had already payed for the service). I had to be the one to approach an employee and ask them to clean the inside because I was going to be late to pick up my kids. I let the employe know the situation and they told me I had to wait for my turn despite them locking my keys inside and ignoring me through the sequence or events. At that point I was frustrated with the situation and lack of professionalism that everyone has exhibited, they disregarded that I had told them I was running late to pick up my children. In simple words they treated me badly for a mistake they made and never offered an apology or compensation for anything. I was understanding from the start and saw it as a simple mistake but their attitude towards the situation was the last straw. Don’t go to this...
