I have honestly never left a restraunt hitting Google for answers about local health codes.
The place is DISGUSTING top to bottom everything, and I mean everything appears to have been in desperate need of a clean for what must be years. The bathrooms caused panic amongst myself and my fellow guests when after a quick trip to the men's room, not only was it expectedly disgusting, but did not have soap or any means to dry your hands. Naturally this brought up the question of surely the wait and kitchen staff are using the same restrooms, honestly a revolting thought that had to be driven from the back of our minds for the remainder of the meal
The stack of broken chairs in the corner is a bizarre styling choice, even alongside the general filth that covered most of the joint.
For fear of drinking out of the cups we ordered a soda that arrived in a can. Not a big deal, you would think, however on this particular occasion we were served expired soda. This still stands out to me about the whole night. Because in my nearing 30 years of life I have never been served expired soda. Even at restaurants where cans or bottles is totally normal practice, I can't say it's ever tasted off enough that I bothered to seek an expiration date.
Honestly posting this makes me feel like I've stepped into some strange layer of hell, tons of stellar reviews, loads talking about great experiences. But somehow you managed to take a wrong turn headed toward the pearly gates of fantastic Chinese food and completely crash and...
Read moreOK, can't figure out how to do a 2nd review so updating this one. We so want to like this place. This is our 2nd time here in the last couple of weeks. Both times there was good and bad. Let me give you the good first. Ramen was excellent as were the pork dumplings/pot stickers. The BAD: we order the buy 2 #'s get one free crab legs. It was a complete loss. The crab was over cooked a d the legs just bent. We were unable to get any crab from the legs. So very disappointed in the crab legs. Servers are friendly enough but just seem to lack some experience. Not sure if we will give it a 3rd shot.
So we've been wanting to try this place since they have updated the restaurant and change the menu. While the atmosphere is ok, it is a HUGE upgrade to what the place looked like before. Menu was very broad. We tried the Ramen and pad thai (always my go to at a new place) Ramen was really good. Ordered my pad thai with no onions and it came with onions. They were big enough to pick out. (They did offer to remake it after they saw me picking through it) pad thai was below average. I have had better. Service was ok, not bad, but not great either. Prices were very reasonable we will be back to try other items...
Read moreFast, delicious, and I will be going again. Had a craving for some Good Chinese food. I have driven past the place several times. Well today was the day. I ordered Chicken egg foo young, a Happy family with chicken, shrimp, pork, and beef, and another chicken special that came with fried rice & an egg roll. Sat and waited, the restaurant was empty, but who orders Chinese on a Labor day weekend? Me! Food arrived fast, hot, boxed up and ready to go. Got home and the Chicken egg foo young was perfect. Crispy, smothered in a light brown gravy, with green onions, and nice size pieces of chicken. Everyone does NOT know how to cook egg foo young. They do and it hit the spot. The happy family was fresh with de veined shrimp, nice pieces of chicken, sliced beef, and pork. I didn't really care for the pork, a little to firm but it didn't take away from the dish. The last dish (sorry, can't remember the name) was good also with chicken, vegetables nicely cooked in a white garlicky sauce. I was truly happy with all of it. I will definitely be going again. I Give them a try! Nice, clean, ample space for a nice meal...
