This place was actually great minus the different style of the boil and sauce. It was full of a very oil filled sauce… different than coastal food. However the night was great until we paid. Our waitress was sweet and kind she grabbed the ticket and money and cash we gave her to pay.. but she decided to pocket our change and also take our receipt ?? I have never left a restaurant with out a receipt. So We paid in cash about 20 over due to bill amount. She came back and said do you want change to my husband.. I handed him the cash and knew how much I gave him we brought cash just for dinner so I knew. He joked and said I don’t remember how much I gave you but yes please bring change. He was a bit sore acted talking to friends. He said that because we are very generous tippers and wanted to give her more than the change from what we paid. The waitress then returned and dropped of the ticket book and walked away quickly. We opened it up and the Receipt was gone? Inside we were left with 4 ones in it. I was confused I thought we’ll if she kept the change why would she leave 4 ones ? So she took the 20 dollars and pocketed it. We tried to call her over three times to make sure it wasn’t a mistake but she made eye contact twice and avoided us. No receipt ? Come on. I even walked around to find her… so lesson is to that nice server before you stole money thinking we wobbly notice we were going to leave you a more than 20 % tip for your hard work. instead you tried to play us l, so next time be honest it will pay off . Hope that 20 was worth it . The pic is the table we sat at was her area by the writing...
Read moreThis was my first trip to this restaurant, and I was not impressed at all. First impressions weren't terrible outside. There were quite a few cars parked out front and everything seemed like it would be good. But the interior was another story. The writing on the walls was strangely inappropriate in places, and seemed staged, almost. The decorations were fun, but clashed heavily with the walls. We got appetizers, which turned out to be the best part of our meal, unfortunately. The fries and sesame balls were incredible, which gave me high hopes for the food. My family and I got a seafood boil, with the Cajun sauce. We decided to go for the mild spice, just to make sure we didn't throw off any other flavors with intense heat. Sadly, this ended up being slightly salty, water sauce. There was very little flavor to the rest of the meal. The snow crab was great, but that was only by itself. If I put it in the sauce, it became slightly unpalatable. Our server was attentive and nice, but she was not able to save our meal. The price was high, but thats to be expected with seafood, honestly. I cant in good faith reccomend this place. You can find much better boils for the price we had to pay here. I only give it two stars due to our server being attentive, and the appetizers being done so well. I can not give it any higher than that. On a side note, as we were driving home, I began to notice a chemical taste in my mouth and on my breath. Im not sure if this was due to the food or not, but I'm going to keep an eye on it and update...
Read moreHorrible! Went for the advertised all you can eat crab legs $50pp. When asking for our first and unfortunately last refill, we asked if it could please not come with the corn, potatoes, and sausage to avoid being wasteful and not be charged for having leftovers as advertised everywhere. She brought it anyway and said it HAS to come with it. She also stood wantching the entire time, and seemed very confused when we asked for the refill like it wasn't truly all You can eat. When we asked for a box for our appetizer she said she HAS to be the one to do it and then tightly knitted the bag. I'm guessing in attempt for us to not take the sausage, corn , and potatoes without paying for them twice basically( that we specially said we didn't even want). So, we left those their in order to not be charged to take our own leftovers home. Wasteful! Nothing like what was advertised. It was just an awful and expensive experience and barely...
