I really like this theatre! It's a bit far from my house, but whenever I get a chance to go there I am always pleased. Everything about it is very spacious and grand-looking. It is always very clean as well. The Concessions stand it big and keeps the line moving. They are also courteous. I accidentally spilled my popcorn all over the counter and the employee didn't skip a beat and cleaned it up without any attitude and assured me it happened more often than I thought. I still profusely apologized. Recently I saw the 40th anniversary of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". It was a great presentation in a nice auditorium. My only grip is the mid-levels were VERY high and any time the music swelled the volume got painfully loud to where it rang in your eardrum. It was kinda a bummer because one of the reasons to see this particular movie is because of the great score, but in the big moments me and my wife were wincing because of how the levels were. Volume is never a problem, but it needs to be balanced right. Other than that I've never had an issue with sound or presentation of film. It's a nice theatre.

This is what all movie theaters should aspire to. I recently visited this theater, and I can't remember when was the last time the cinema had the movie names and times posted outside of the theaters! I think lots of other theaters stopped doing it due to cost (and maybe to dissuade people who, after having just finished their movie, would look up and realize, "Hey! This movie is starting in 10 minutes! Let's go in here and not pay and see a free movie!") but it is a nice touch, especially when the movie has 18 theaters and you have other things on your mind besides worrying about memorizing the theater number to which your film has been assigned (first date, Raisinets vs Goobers, etc.). My Regal in Fairfield, California does not have this feature, nor does it have all the neon/flashiness/ambiance that this one does. The seats were comfortable, and let you rock. The concession stand was fully stocked and fully STAFFED! Next time I'm in Albuquerque, I'll be back.

We went to the movies here, on a Wednesday at 330pm. No one was in our theater except a mom w/her two children about the same age as my 7yr old daughter who I was with; "mini~me&mamma date" my Lil one called it 🤗☺️🥰 anywho, the seats were ridiculously pillow like- SO comfortable and rocked back and forth and they were also super roomu (And I'm taller than the avg. New Mexican female- im 5'8" and a half lol!)!!! The entire theater, including the bathrooms, was absolutely spotless and even smelled clean and sanitary! No sticky floors and/or popcorn and/or toilet paper all over the dang place-- it was a fun after school outing for us! Over priced, as to be expected, but super enjoyable nonetheless! More late afternoon middle of the week movies are deff in our near future!!! ***Btw- we saw Addams Family ||, it was cute and had some adult humor sprinkled subliminally in there lol 👍🏼👍🏼💯

This was my first visit to Regal Winrock and it was extremely disappointing, especially since it cost so very much. I won't be returning to this theater.

There was no one manning the box office counter, which consists of self serve screens that didn't respond well to touch, so if you have any issues purchasing tickets you have to go hunt down an employee to help.

The concession stand doesn't have prices listed on the combos - apparently you only save $1 by buying it that way and the cost of a single person combo was absurd. My popcorn tasted stale & very dry, didn't have enough salt, and asking for butter resulted in a small amount being added just to the top. There is no self serve here and it wasn't clear if refills were free.

Once we got into the theater (#4) we couldn't believe how uncomfortable the seats were. There is no way to recline and no footrests. You can push against the back of your seat but it just bounces back to upright. It felt like sitting in an office chair!

There was half an hour of ads and previews, 20 minutes of which were after the movie start time. That's a ridiculous amount of commercials, many of which were literally advertisements for non-movie related things and not previews.

Now for the worst part... The viewing quality at this theater was the worst I have ever seen! There was this sparkly glare that was very distracting, as though the screen surface was damaged or the window that the film is projected through was dirty. The film was out of focus the entire time, so badly that it was hard to watch and gave me a headache. I've seen clearer movies projected onto the side of a building with amateur equipment before!

I wanted to walk out, complain and get a refund, but the person I was with begged me to not make a scene and just suffer through the rest of the movie. I rarely go to the theater and was really looking forward to seeing what we went there for, but the bad experience ruined it for me.

I cannot recommend Regal Winrock under any circumstances. It was a total ripoff... There are much more affordable theaters in ABQ with better picture, more comfortable seating, and free refills on popcorn and soda that doesn't cost an...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Winrock regal theater, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best movie-going experiences I’ve ever had—all thanks to the outstanding leadership and service of the theater’s manager, Tom. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that Tom takes immense pride in ensuring every guest has a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

Tom embodies everything a perfect manager should be: professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about customer satisfaction. When I had a minor issue with my ticket, Tom handled it with incredible efficiency and a warm, welcoming attitude. He not only resolved the situation immediately but also went above and beyond to make sure I felt valued as a guest. His exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and positive energy truly set the tone for the entire theater.

Beyond that, I noticed how Tom interacted with both his staff and other guests—he was consistently proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. His attention to detail was impeccable, from making sure the theater was spotless to checking that concessions were fully stocked and lines moved efficiently.

It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their job as much as Tom does. He turned what could have been a simple crisp morning at the movies into an experience I’ll remember for a long time. His dedication and hard work deserve all the recognition in the world, and I sincerely hope the theater appreciates what a gem they have in him.

If you’re looking for a top-tier movie experience where customer service is prioritized, I highly recommend visiting the Winrock Regal movie theater and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see firsthand the incredible work...

Went for first time since over a year ago, and the fact is, it will be at least that long before I return to this theatre, which is a shame as its so close to our residence. Movies for my family of 4 (wife + 2 daughters) is never cheap, especially when checking out from concessions, so I'm not being a cheapskate with buyers remorse, but rather a knowledgeable patron and small business owner who understands the need to provide a quality product for any consumers hard earned money. 2 - ten dollar sodas and 2 - ten dollar Icees were not disbursed correctly from taps and were flat, ice melted extremely quick and further dilluted the beverage as the theatre was HOT. My kids didn't finish their drinks and upon eating the top of our large popcorn, discovered a hidden "burnt" section, which for me is a forfeit of the bucket as I cant stand the smell taste or texture of blackened popcorn. The theatre was empty which tells me that word has gotten around about the inadequacies of the concessions, the lack of a functional air conditioner ( or ) the non use for sake of lowering operational costs taking precedent over keeping a comfortable temperature. Also noted the staff seemed up to par with what appeared to be adequate numbers and those whoom I interacted with were very polite and helpful but did not work with any urgency and talked more then they moved. These are very fixable issues meanwhile the requisite cost of attendance is not being reciprocated with a quality venue. Unprecedented times have strained our budget to the limit, therefore the goods/services we invest in for the sake of having fun must be of the utmost...
