Del Ray Farm Market — Attraction in Alexandria

Great variety of ready-made items and produce, meat, dairy, eggs, etc. They have a wonderful compost depository where you can bring your compostable items to drop off to the community compost! We purchased a $5 compost items bucket (with a handle) from them and bring it every week to deposit the compost.

Would recommend checking out the chicken, pork, and sometimes beef empanadas! They are amazing and full of juice but the crust is perfect...

Town of DelRay holds a one day Art Festival with many, many vendors during early fall each year. The community ball field arranges games and other activities for families to participate. On the same Avenue of the festival there are eateries and the Delray Artisans gallery free to the public. Also, no admission to stroll down the Avenue to see and purchase from the many vendors. So mark your calendar for 20/20...

Sweet little local farmers market which had a few missing stalls during my visit, due to the proximity to the holidays, but which is definitely worth your time.
