Ebisu Life Store — Attraction in Alhambra

As a big nerd myself, I have to leave a review of this place. It's a Japanese convenience store that you could find almost anything you'd expect here. Snacks, drinks, makeups, and most importantly, anime merchs.

The store is well lit and gave out an energetic vibe when you get in. You can see each aisle very clearly from one end to another, and they're well labeled, too.

What I love the most about this place is that they have a wide variety of anime merchandise here. Especially GUNDAM models. Honestly, I would buy every one of them if my wallet could handle it.

They also have a little section of gacha & claw machines for those who like a little game of chance.

Surprisingly, the price range here is relatively reasonable in comparison to many other Japanese stores I've been to before. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who'd love to experience a shopping spree on...

Selection similar to shops in Little Tokyo or to a shop like Shibuyala but if this is closer to you it's worth a visit. Very crowded and very long lines but presumably because it's just opened and once the hype dies down it'll be okay.

Don't expect this to be an Asian grocer as in the kind that carries like produce and the like, it's more of a trendy sort of shop. Melona bars and Pokemon items and anime figures and snacks type of store. Lots of Pokemon and Sanrio items. They have a few crane machines and gachapon machines. They have some cosmetics but mainly things like creams and cleansers and toners, the makeup selection is small.

Prices seem to match what you find in shops like those in Little Tokto...

It's a cute store with a lot of interesting items, but what made me pause was the Buldak spicy ramen they sell here. While there is more variety here than in the grocery stores I go to, they are straight up ripping you off, $16 for a 6 pack or ramen are you joking me? Buldak ramen has gotten so popular that I now find the most popular flavors in my local Mexican grocery stores for maybe around $8 for a 6 pack. Makes me wonder what else they are price gouging in this store honestly. Still though, interesting to look at, just...
