Wrensmoor Castle — Attraction in Alhambra

Ahh Wrensmoor my friend! I wish I could stay with you always. Upon first discovering Wrensmoor I was blown away at it's beauty and detail. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to capture your attention. You can tell that a lot of love and intentionality went into the design and decor of the space. From the mural in the main hallway to the art in each room. It's so unique in every way.

I have had the pleasure to stay overnight (in the Commodore Theodore Room.) The beds were so comfy and cozy. It felt like a warm hug as I was going to sleep. :) Having breakfast and a cup of coffee in the breakfast nook in the kitchen felt so personal in such a big home. Oh and the game room is a total win.

On separate occasions, I have also had the pleasure of helping our clients host their celebrations there. The Wrensmoor team is always super helpful in answering all of our questions and working through the logistics of the event. Plus Chef Cordelia's catering is A+++. I don't believe you have to hire Chef Cordelia to have an event there, but I strongly suggest you do. The food, and flawless service really elevate the experience at Wrensmoor.

We did our wedding here in November! We were lucky to be able to bring in our own food and vendors which is one of the reasons we chose this venue (other than it being very beautiful and eclectic).Overall we had a really great experience (especially day of the wedding). It was their first real year doing wedding at the location so there were some hiccups. Mostly with communication between the client venue manager Reagan and the manager Chef Cordelia. We had a couple times we would reach out to Reagan and not get a response at all. Other times there was a little bit of frustration with the timeliness of responses/need for multiple conversations about the same issue. As a new venue I think this may be to be expected. That being said they were extremely FLEXIBLE with other aspects such as allowing outside vendors and letting us check in early for our stay. Overall we had the best day celebrating our wedding and the day of their staffing and our wonderful coordinator at Hun Events LA did ensure a seamless day and night. I would definitely do it...

Wrensmoor is the PERFECT space to host all the things!!!! I got married here in February and it was absolutely perfect. We dined outside on the amazing lawn and the sunset was the perfect backdrop with the exception of the obvious castle, cause how cool is that?!?! Ya I got married at a castle, no big deal, except is super is!

We gathered 22 friends and family to have a 3 day sleepover with us as we had events leading up to the big day, one of which included the in-house culinary team cooking pizza to order in the backyard area with lawn games and cocktails… which led to a long night of pool and air hockey in the games room while friends reminisced about past lives in the speak easy bar. It was magic. The best part was, after all the fun, just having to walk upstairs to one of beautiful bedrooms all with wildly comfortable mattress to sleep it off until the fun began the next day. Extremely thankful for the double coffee pot and expert level coffee set up, nice touch.
