Ā Ā Ā Read morewanted to share our experience of Coca-Cola Parkās Illumination holiday event!!! we drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there, there is nothing like this where we live so we really wanted to check it out. I was told it was there first time doing this event?! for their first time I must say they hit it out of the ballpark, pun intended. we went on a sold out night, so yes obviously big crowds, but to be honest anywhere you go this time of year has big crowds. And because of the stadium being so big, everyone is all spread out throughout. The lights are absolutely gorgeous, I couldnāt stop staring. Walking on the field was so cool, loved seeing the lights up-close. Thought they had plenty of benches as you walked around if the older grandparents needed a break. Maybe my only criticism is having more tables and fire pits for people eating and snacking!! the hot chocolate was really good, the cookies were hard as a rock. My daughter loved the hot pretzels!
I honestly think more sports stadiums should do an event like this, I think itās a goldmine. I cant tell you how many things my family & I look to do between November- December, we love doing Christmas/holiday things like this.
shout out to Elsa for being so sweet with my daughter!! My daughter didnāt want to leave the playground LOL
Santa and the Grinch were also there :)
Also thought the ticket prices were very fairly priced, everything we have done so far this holiday season was more expensive. I definitely think you are getting your moneys worth. And if you are driving far like we did, there is a lot of restaurant options to eat...
