Unfortunately, today I decided to go buy an oatmeal for breakfast at the Wawa located at 911-941 Union Blvd, Allentown, PA 18109. At 9:17:51 I completed my order using the machines where the food is ordered. Receipt 709. At 9:18:21 (30 seconds later) I already had my payment receipt. I immediately stop in front of where the food is collected to wait... I see that they give the food to everyone who was before me. No problem, I know that's the normal process. Then I keep waiting and I see that they keep making sandwiches for the people who ordered after I did it. Both employees who were preparing the food focused on sandwiches. None of them served any oats or any food that was served in the containers. At approximately 9:30 I went to the Manage Marce. I told her how upset I was and that even I was so upset that I didn't even want the money back, just letting her know my concern with such poor customer service. First of all, she trying to protect her employees, they tell me that the numbers do not mean a specific order, which I understand, but they kept serving sandwiches and my oatmeal was nowhere to be found. Then the excuse was another, and a lie. She told me that another client had taken my oatmeal. I told her that that was not true, because I did not move from there and the two employees never served any oats or any food that is served in those containers. I think it's disrespectful to lie to customers just to get out of the situation. I left the store very annoyed and even without money and without my oatmeal because of the indignation I had. Read moreI usually like to stop at Wawa on union Blvd since it's on my way home. There are days that are great. I order my smoothie, get my other items like milk. Usually by the time I pay for everything and walk to get my drink it's ready waiting for me. There have been sometimes when it's not and in understand they get busy. However there has been one guy that doesn't follow up on the orders. He was doing random other things putting boxes away. I could see my order on the other side of the glass but could not get his attention. My boyfriend is taller than me so he asked if it was my number. The guy says he guesses it is since it hadn't been labeled. So by the time I left my whip cream was all melted and my b drink wasn't the same. Usually the staff is Amazing! Jessica is an awesome manager, she really knows what she's doing. She help helps in every area. They were short one day and she was training a new person on the register while also helping out in the deli. Jose is the best cashier he will put you in a better mood he's always polite and smiling. When the registers are slow he goes right to cleaning and making the store look nice. Tiana is also another awesome employee. When she makes the drinks there usually isn't a problem and if for some reason there is she will apologize to everyone waiting. She does the same in the deli and keeps the line moving. Tiana is also great on the register. Greats people when they come in. Is usually helping coworkers figure things out. Overall it's a nice place to stop to get a few things. Read moreFirst- I would like to say, that Wawa has been one of my favorite lunch destinations for many years. I work close by to this location and I have been coming to this place for many years... since it opened. Which brings me to my point. Over the years, Wawa has presented very innovative menu items and strategies that just totally exceed the competition and overall expectations. The service is always great, even when you consider the impact that COVID had on the industry. This is all about the value and quality of product being offered for the $$. I have seen the value of their offering decline over the last few years. Their great hoagies have become little more than a couple slices of meat with a sprinkling of lettuce an other ingredients selected to accompany the sandwich. Today, was the topper...I absolutely LOVE the turkey stuffing bowl and I cant wait till they have this every season. But WOW........what a total disappointment today. I wish I could have taken a picture to show you. I am not kidding when I say... I think there was maybe 3 little pieces of turkey, a tablespoon of stuffing and one little scoop of mashed potatoes with maybe a teaspoon of gravy. I get it... I know all about portion control...I have been in the food business all of my life... but this is just a total rip off anymore. What happened to wawa?
