Mich-e-ke-wis Park — Attraction in Alpena

Loved this beach. Plenty of parking, beach was clean and maintained. Easy walking to beach/water with paved paths. Great family atmosphere with BIG playground, swing sets, and a awesome splash pad for the kids! Main facility building has mens, women's, and handicapped/ family restroom. The beach is really rocky at first when walking out into the lake, but it turns sandy and has a long distance of shallow water great to go swimming with the family at.
