I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pompeyos Mexican Grill, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The combination of delicious food, outstanding service, and a picturesque view of the water made my visit truly memorable.

Let's start with the food. The culinary offerings at Pompeyos Mexican Grill were simply outstanding. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. The menu offered a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes, and each one was prepared with great care and attention to detail.

One standout item that I highly recommend is the tomatillo hot salsa. This zesty condiment added a delightful kick to every bite and perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes. It's definitely a must-try for anyone who appreciates a bit of heat in their Mexican cuisine.

Aside from the exceptional food, the service at Pompeyos Mexican Grill was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations, making the decision-making process much easier.

One of the highlights of dining at Pompeyos Mexican Grill was the stunning view of the water. The restaurant is ideally situated to offer breathtaking vistas, which enhanced the overall ambiance. Whether you're seated indoors or on the outdoor patio, you can enjoy your meal while taking in the beauty of the surrounding scenery. It truly added a touch of tranquility to the dining experience.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Pompeyos Mexican Grill to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The food was outstanding, with the tomatillo hot salsa stealing the show. The service was impeccable, and the view of the water added an extra touch of magic to the meal. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Pompeyos Mexican Grill is a must-visit...

I have to give the food quality and waitress 5 stars. Restaurant policy, 2 stars. Yesterday, August 8, 2021 was our second visit. We had visited in August 2020 as well. I ordered the Mega burrito with no chicken or steak, but only ground beef. I asked for just a little extra refried beans on the burrito. Upon completing our dinner, my wife and I both had leftovers to take home. My wife asked for a small amount of queso cheese for her leftovers. She was brought a small black cup holding approximately 2 tablespoons of cheese which was fine considering the amount of her leftover dinner. I readily paid the bill and tipped quite generously due to the good food and excellent service by our waitress. I was shocked afterwards when my wife pointed out I had been charged $3.75 for extra side of refried beans and she had been charged $2.00 for the tiny cup of cheese to go. I would never expect a business to give anything away as they need to be profitable to stay in business. This I understand. However, when I replaced chicken and steak on my burrito with ground beef, I never dreamed I would be charged for requesting a "little extra" refried beans. And, a tiny cup of cheese for $2.00! Seriously! If it had been $0.50, maybe even $0.75, I could see that. It's unfortunate, but no, I will not return. I have no issue paying a fair price for a good meal, but when I feel taken advantage of, I...

I decided to celebrate my 54th birthday at Pompeyos. I was in town on business and had a craving for tacos. The place was crowded, but that's a good sign that the food may be good (so, I thought). The sweet, young waitress took my order: For my birthday, a double shot of tequila, a beer, a taco, steak and shrimp. The waitress politely asked, "How would You like your steak." I answered, "Medium Well, please." The waitress returned with the rarest steak I had ever seen. I tried working around it (eating the beans, rice and shrimp) but the sight of the raw meat was unbearable. The waitress returned to check my needs and I showed her the steak. She agreed, that's not the medium well temperature she ordered for Me. She went to the kitchen and later returned with a new steak. To both of our surprises, the new steak was equally undercooked. I asked the waitress was she mistakenly ordering "medium rare?". The waitress explained that, for the second steak, she ordered well-done to ensure its doneness. She immediately returned the second steak to the kitchen. Instead of a new steak, the cook simply reheated the same steak to its desired temperature. Birthday ruined, and I will not be returning to this restaurant. Sidenote: the beer was good.

AMAZING food! Perfect price's! Strong drinks! True Mexican heart and spirit! Today as I was driving threw from Fowlerville Mi. I stopped for dinner on my way. They have recently remodeled the inside and added a bar! It looks fantastic and the food is still AMAZING!! We had the sampler platter which could fill you up its self and comes with 4 items to sample and 3 dips, cheese, sour cream and guacamole! I had added a Raspberry Daiquiri which added a nice sweetness to my taste buds! Then I ordered the Pompeyos Taco Salad which was HUGE and delicious, you can have with beef or chicken I chose ground beef. And we ordered another dish however I forgot what it was called...started with an "m" but it was pretty much a seafood fajita, it came with green and red pepper and onions, crab, shrimp AND fish, and all the fixings (rice, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, refried beans) grilled perfectly served on a sizzling hot plate. It was almost too good to eat! Needless to save we left with 2 to go boxes after eating until our bellies hurt! Pompeyo's is the place to go to cure your Mexican cravings!
