Shenandoah Park — Attraction in American Canyon

We go to this park often because it's in a good neighborhood. I love that they have a padded playground, but beware that it's a bit rough so if your kid falls and skids, they'll get some "rug" burns. They have well placed benches and they have a cement wall where you can sit in the shade that all makes for nice seating. I see a sign saying they'll be resurfacing this summer which is good because the padding under the swings are rubbed all the way down, but that will probably also mean it will be closed for a while so keep that in mind if you plan on going since summer is so close. Visited the playground area to let my two little kids 5 and 2 burn off some energy. I gave it 5 stars simply for the fact that 1. It has nice grass and shade area for you to lay out a picnic mat and relax (get grounded). 2. The play ground is soft turf which means the kids were a lot less dirty. 3. The public restrooms are not the greatest but at least they have some available because my son had to go fo a number 1 and 2.
