Worst company ever don't move in unless you want papers saying u owe like 15000 dollars they scam here they are slumlords they don't fix they lie also dead body was in the building for 3 weeks & they had us living in it smelling like 100000 rotten rats couldn't breathe the first day outside in the hall smell was so bad!!! An for months it smelled. Took months to fix the place cause his fluids was in the flooring & walls!!! THEY sent me papers saying I owe 15000 3000 just for labor trying to charge me for the carpet I was there for almost 5 years they were suppose to change it before I moved in they just carpet cleaned it is all now they saying im responsible for their carpet by law your suppose to change that like every 5-7 years or every new tenant. They charging me for flooring and cabinets i took pics before I left and moved in apartment the damages they were suppose to fix before I even moved in they listed on this paperwork stating I owe them 15000 im suing them I am so done with this I have 4 kids I work 4 jobs & don't have this kind of money and will not be paying them a cent of it either good luck getting anymore of my hard working money you scammers devil has things in store for you karma is real & can't wait to see what it does to you. Cause this ain't right I was there for years & you didnt fix things I had to buy my own ac units and washer because theirs don't work ac was smoking when it turned on. Door nobs broken when I moved in doors had cracks & holes when I moved in 3 doors & guess what they put that on the paper saying I have to pay that back after I have in writing the doors need fixed they are screwed court is going to see they are scamming and taking advantage of a single mother. Dishwasher didnt work garbage disposal didnt work they came out 3 times for the dishwasher and ac and garbage disposal & it still didn't work so I had to get my own washer ac drier an hide my washer dryer when they came cause they said we couldnt have them had to use them downstairs when it ate my quarters wouldnt wash or dry my clothes. There is also mold in building in the floors and walls they tried saying the damage to the floors bathroom n kitchen was my fault but you can tell before I moved in it was damaged from years of tenants but they are trying to make ME pay for it why not the tenant that messes up the garbage disposal ac floors carpet cabinets fake flooring you put in holes in the walls that you painted over paint job you did to the walls nails that stuck up on the floors cut kids feet when they played so I had to lay huge rugs down list goes on they did that before I moved in my kids did small wear a tears the floors were STAINED disgusting before we moved in I had a massive huge list I turned in for the list of damages n repairs every time you move in somewhere they have you fill it out and guess what everything I wrote you put in the PAPER FOR 15000 that your trying to scam me to pay! gonna make sure everyone knows what you are and what you do to people how you treat them scam them use them hurt them take advantage of them n RUIN PEOPLES LIFES!!!! DON'T EVER EVER EVER RENT FROM THEM EVER!Here is proof They lie they just lied to this poor person here and told them no we don't make you hire professional cleaners when here is a list they sent me for people to clean the carpets and the list of all the things they require you to do then scam. they harassed me the last year of living there I was paying almost 900 dollars a month for this place breathing in mold and also deceased people and they wondered why whole building had bugs that's another thing they charged me for. This is why I am not paying a cent because they are illegal and need shut down an investigated by the city. Poor people are going to go through the same thing I had to and that's why I am posting this to save others can't lie hunzikers anymore I got proof you just lie your teeth out to become more rich that's why you have thousands of houses and apartments because you just scam people. Here is the proof was not remolded either...

Absolutely DO NOT RENT with Hunziker Property Management. My experience with them has been extremely disappointing, unfair, and unprofessional.

When I moved into my apartment, I immediately documented numerous pre-existing issues: scratches and nail holes in the walls, dirt and mud on window frames, and stains and dirt behind the stove and washer/dryer. I sent all of this to management at move-in, and they confirmed in writing that these were normal wear and tear and would not be charged at move-out.

In early July, their own pre-inspection noted that the apartment was “so clean.” Yet after I moved out, Hunziker completely reversed their story, suddenly claiming the apartment was “so dirty” and refusing to rent to me again. I found this both shocking and discriminatory, especially since I had left the apartment very clean, and they withheld my entire deposit without providing any convincing reason. They justified keeping my deposit by claiming the carpet needed replacement. However, their own inspection report states that the carpet only required cleaning, not replacement. This inconsistency strongly suggests their reasoning was unfounded and feels like an excuse to keep my deposit.

The so-called “evidence” photos they provided either show no visible dirt at all or only normal wear and tear. Several even show conditions I had already documented at move-in, which they had acknowledged in writing as pre-existing. On top of that, their communication has been dismissive and unprofessional. I emailed them several times to try to resolve the issue and appeal their decision, but received no response whatsoever.

Based on my experience, it is clear that Hunziker acted in bad faith with my security deposit and beyond, and I would strongly advise others to avoid...

Discriminatory business practices: VERY family unfriendly. Essentially we received retaliatory backlash for exercising our rights as tenants. We got no end of harassment about our lifestyle as we were merely going about our business living our lives and never in breach of lease terms. I should first point out that we lived in a very large development of theirs DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM A SCHOOL, in which there was NO playground anywhere, which makes a strong statement in discouragement of young families from applying. In this development we witnessed maybe a handful of young families. In an upstairs unit during daylight hours, we were told to keep our young child quiet. They complained to us about our vehicle not being maintained. Maintenance was responsive but ineffective regarding a serious mold growth problem resulting from single-pane windows not being properly insulated. Water literally dripped down the panes in the winter and pooled, causing serious mold growth. Finally, we were simply asked not to renew our lease and furthermore were told that we were not permitted to rent with their company again. When asked for a reason, one was not provided. I should also point out that as a young family, we were using a lot of water for cooking, bathing, and laundry. Water was included in the lease. I strongly suspect but cannot confirm they were upset about having to pay for water usage they deemed too much, especially in the absence of a reason for sending us away. Shadiest of all, when they correctly suspected us of preparing to hold them legally accountable, lo and behold we received our ENTIRE deposit back. Every penny. Experienced renters will know that this is unheard of, even if you leave your unit immaculate...
