The Mill District General Store — Attraction in Amherst

This place is reminiscent of an old-time general store with the high volume and array of products they offer. It is one of those stores where you can go in and wonder for a good half hour just to take in all the things they have. Although its location is a bit off the beaten path, it is worth the little effort it takes to get there. Super cool store. There is all sorts of items to purchase here from the everyday, practical items to unique toys, trinkets, and gift ideas. They also showcase two very unique unisex bathrooms. One being a jungle theme and the other being a one-way mirror viewing outside the front of the store! They also have an art gallery attached with several finished works for sale. A very sweet, kind dog named Minny (Minnie?) patrols the store saying hello to customers as well. She is fairly shy, so if you are adverse to cute animals, she will likely leave you alone anyways.
