I wish i could give this place negative stars i brought my son here about a month ago and they did an ok job but cut his hair a little too short. I figured as long as i specified this time not to cut the top too short it would perfect. My son has curly hair so i ask to have the sides shaved short and fade a little longer toward the top. I stressed not to cut the top she could trim a tiny bit if his curls wouldnt lay down right. Sides came out fine and then i saw her go to cut the top and i told her again no i want to keep his curls trim only. She smiled and said ok ok and then cut off 3/4 of an inch and i stood up and told her no thats too much try to blend that in but dont cut anymore. So she went ahead and cut the rest of it. I was seething and she said it is ok looks good even though you could now see his curls sticking up everywhere in different directions. Then she tried putting a bunch of gel in it to get it to lay down and when it didnt she tried shaving it shorter around the top edges. My son has pictures today and now his hair is half glued down with gel and half sticking up in patches. Then to insult ne further she still wanted to be paid for the hack job even though she knew i was pissed. Then i tried to pay with my card she said its cash only and i told her i payed with card last time. She said only manager can take cards! I only had my emergency cash so she told me i would have to go next door and buy something and get cash back to pay. I gave her my emergency cash and left. If your hair is straight and you arent particular about it coming out exactly right then this place may be for you but i will never come here again and i dont suggest anyone with curls or textured hair that needs to be cut with attention to detail come...
Read moreThis is a no frills barber, walk-in style, reminds me of a military barber shop. There are 2 older ladies, one wears glasses. They both know their stuff. I always ask for a medium skin fade, they have both delivered and do a great job. I will also mention that these two ladies have skills competitive with those men’s boutique barbers for my style of haircut, so I come to this place because I can walk right in and get a cut even on a Sunday. They listen and have not tried to do anything extra without asking. Word of caution, I got a cut a couple times by one of the gentleman there. He was not as good at listening to what I wanted or his interpretation of a medium skin fade looks more like a high skin fade. That’s the reason this place gets 4 stars but I will most likely keep coming here for a long time. Good price for a...
Read moreWorst barber shop I've been to. They keep screwing up my haircut, every time I tell them I'm not done yet and they don't listen and they say I'm done. Not to mention they're pretty aggressive, hasty, rushed, lazy, forceful, and keep going too fast with the cutting I sometimes fear that they might slice off my scalp or cut my head and bleed or shave my head bald. Also I don't like being touched by older Asian/Vietnamese men who are aggressive and putting their hands and fingers all over me. And they keep abruptly stopping the haircut, they don't understand when I say "cut more off the top" unless I raise my voice sternly and yell. It's my haircut, my body, my choice. I decide when I'm done. What a ripoff. They don't even do according to the picture I show them of my...
