Bagel Me! — Restaurant in Anaheim

The service here is beyond terrible. The staff never seems to know what they are doing. I have been a customer for almost 20 years now and the service has continued to go down hill for the past 10 years. I took my father there about a week ago for breakfast and the cashier told me I could not order my usual egg cheese and cream cheese bagel. She said they couldn’t put cream cheese on it. I didn’t argue but it’s literally the one thing I have ordered here since I was 17 years old. We sat outside and waited for our order. I went inside about 15min later to check on our order and it took another 15min just for someone to acknowledge me. When I finally had the chance to ask about our order it was sitting behind the counter and the cashier said “oh I called your name awhile ago” 😒 seriously there wasn’t any effort to call my name again for the past 15 minutes? No bells went off when I stood in front of the cashier and waited to ask about it? Also the cashier took phone orders and made the customers in line wait until the phone orders were in. Sorry but priority goes to the in store customer and if phones are a priority then schedule another employee for that time. I honestly think I will just go to the several other bagel shops in the area from now on. This place just doesn’t get it. Oh it’s also ridiculously expensive for a bagel now. Stopped in with my wife on Sunday a couple weeks ago, could not understand girl that took my order wanted butter on bagel brought it with no butter, she did not know what to do, had to ask another worker, then said if you want butter an additional $1.65 I said ok she went back to counter and waited on customers, finally I got up gave her back the butter less bagels said keep my money I will never go back. Yesterday September 5 the service was horrible and I spent 71 dollars at this store and they still didn't give me all my order I paid for it. When I called to speak to a manager I was basically disregarded and told there is no Manager and they don't know when One will be Available. This is so disrespectful to customer's that drive 40 minutes to a Store they considered a Great place. I spent also a hour waiting for a incomplete order.😞😞. And they still wanted to charge me 85cents more for Butter to spread on my Bagel, after a 71 dollar order. So Sad and forgot items...
