My little getaway to natureās mini wilderness! Tucked into the Anaheim Hills, hereās the coolest little quiet space for a short hike of 15 - 20 minutes. Itās also great for quite down time, to stop off and check messages, relax and meditate within this beautiful natural setting! I love to take a bag lunch here and eat at the picnic tables or benches. Iāll collect all the used wrappers and bags to the trash, as thereās a helpful supply of containers available. The park users tend to respect the pristine condition as is and observe likewise, helping to keep it the way we find it! Nature references are posted to gain insight into the ecosystem before us. Adults and children seem to enjoy such a place, separate from development and away from the urban landscape! Itās also a good place to walk the dog, with bag stations available at the entrances. Still, the naturalness within is completely surrounded by homes, themselves part of the rustic setting. Nuisances are discouraged with appropriately worded signage. Pelanconi Park has three separate designated entrances. Thereās a lower parking lot of 20 - 30 spaces, accessed from Avenida Margarita or Avenida Felipe. Street parking may be available as per sign restrictions. Similar street-side parking with restrictions may be possible at the upper end of the park, off of S Westridge Circle. The parkās parking lot is open from 7:00...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would hardly even consider this a park, more of a dirt path between a neighborhood and a side-street. There is no grass, this whole "park" is entirely dirt. There is a water fountain though, which seems to be the only park like thing around. It's a great place to do some hill repeats if you are training to run in a race as it's secluded and has a size-able hill. Overall if you're looking for your new picnicking spot I would check out Eucalyptus Park as it has grass, shady spots, and is...
