Im a Senior who's about to graduate high school!
Price: As far as I know, this place is extremely overpriced for a place that's accessible for schools. Paid $96 to get both my yearbook and my cap-and-gown picture done, and if I want to keep them, printed portraits cost around $200 for 4 photos or digital costs nearly $400 for 4 or more pictures! Those prices for such little pictures are not worth it. I wish I would've known so I didn't have to waste an extra $59 for the cap and gown just for me to spend hundreds more just to keep them. Pay the $37 and take your own cap and gown pictures that you will most likely be satisfied with.
Customer Service: Another thing I like to point out is that the customer service is a 50/50. I was lucky enough to have a photographer who cares about what I felt and let me adjust my hair and makeup, while I was sitting she even pulled out a mini mirror for me so I can fix myself. I can't say that it will be the same for everyone but that's my experience. When you wait it feels like you're a little kid interrupting your parent's work. The people in front are almost always gone and randomly come out whenever. Again, I was lucky enough that my appointment was early but my friends said that they had to wait awhile since so many other students were there. Although I was early, I still had to wait awhile to be called up to get my pictures taken.
Sanitation/Atmosphere: From what I observed from the place, the lobby felt very empty and dead. It looked like a tinier, less lively DMV lobby. It felt deafening since there's no sound coming from anywhere, when my mom made a phone call everyone heard it from across the room. If you do pay for the cap and gown, it is a shared prop which is nice if you worry that you didn't bring it nor have it. HOWEVER they do not clean it. I saw the excessive build up of makeup stains in the cap which disgusted me since I don't like germs as much.
Overall it's not worth it, you're most likely going because you're being forced from your High School to go here since (in a previous review) they have a contract here. Just save your money and don't bother with the prices, get the picture somewhere else or pay a photographer who is reasonable with...
Read moreI would never go back. I'm not even sure if I will buy the photos. A $30 down payment and only six photos I can't even look at until a day after I walk out? These people don't understand or care about the importance of the photos to their customers. They hardly give you the time of day. With only seconds between photos I found myself unable to fix a flyaway strand of hair or refresh my smile by relaxing my face a moment. The studio was make shift and the dressing rooms are ill equipped to handle the last minute touch ups you may want to make. So bring your own everything, even water. The stool where I sat to take my photos even would rise and fall during the quick shoot. The session lasted about five minutes. Not to mention how much it costs for prints; one 8x10 for eighty something dollars. I am very unhappy with the experience and would never recommend this company to anyone. The photos are not what they could be, should they have taken the time to consider their consumers and do it right. Especially for that price. Hope you hire a better...
