Staples — Attraction in Apple Valley

Oh, I did just shop there last night. I found your people to be polite, helpful and extremely professional. I didn't realize the store was closing/closed until after I paid and was leaving. Then I felt terrible. I even requested help 4-6 times, I even took a phone call and they let me mosey around at my slow pace and continue my shopping. I asked several different people all Staples employees to assist me about different products. Probably about 4 to 6 times and they did help me. One woman helped me with my questions I had about copy paper; helping me choose a different paper than the one I had in my cart and then helped me in putting those others back. It was after I'd paid and was leaving that I'd realized that I'd obviously kept them from ending their shifts and/or put them behind somewhat on their closing up. You have a fantastic crew and I wanted you to know that! Amazing people and I thank you for asking me about my shopping experience at your store. If you are reading this review and considering shopping at this store you won't go wrong or regret going there. It's the store I pick when I need office supplies, snacks, children's art supplies and they just have a huge inventory of products. Plus you can get copies made, fax important documents and even purchase coffee and supplies for your office kitchen and lunch room. As a teacher and parent, I usually do back to school shopping at Walmart for lower prices but this year, my daughter and I decided to shop at Staples in Apple Valley. Guess what?! I’ll never shop anywhere else for back to school!!!! It was the Saturday before schools start back and they had amazing prices (rivaling Walmart!), they had pizza, lemonade, snacks and popcorn for customers and employees everywhere to help you find your items. It was such a different and pleasant experience compared to my past experiences at Walmart. The lines were short, items were stocked on the shelves and selection was good. So many sales!!!! They also had a raffle for teachers and free gifts for teachers as we entered the store, which I really appreciated. Staples knows us teachers spend s lot of our own money on our students and they want to recognize that. Customer service in general has always been excellent at this store. One time, a stapler I had bought there for my classroom had come apart and I couldn’t fix it. Since it was an expensive stapler, I took it in to see if they could help me. A nice young man looked it over, did this and that, and fixed my $20 stapler just like that! I was so grateful. Management has really created a culture of kindness and service to the customers and they are to be commended. I really don’t want to go anywhere else for my office and school...

I cant express enough how significant of an impact Grace made on my life. I don't say this lightly.

Grace helped me print some documents. I had a weird request but nonetheless she worked diligently on my task.

I asked Grace to place the top sheet of what she printed out for me, facing down if she saw man come in and stand beside me. The man did in fact come in, and Grace thoughtfully put the printed items in an appropriate little paper bag that said Staples. Honorably and discrete, Grace displayed not just pride in her job, but a genuine care for a customer (a lost skill on customer service after the pandemic and understandably so)

Grace is an MVP. And Staples, I want you to know that. I hope you value her as she valued my privacy today.

I am 5 months pregnant. The documents that Grace printed were from the District Attorneys Victims Advocate. Relocation forms. The man that came to stand next to me is the father of my unborn child and the man who has tortured me for the last 2 years. Had Grace not taken the time to delicately handle my absurd request, honestly im not sure if I would be here to write this review. Staples I trust you.
