First of all, the owners are amazing and very accommodating. The baklava, we were astounded to find out was made fresh! Delicious and buttery, light and airy with soft roasted nuts and luscious honey syrup. 😋 First time trying beef kabob and I love this type of food, the hummus is fresh and the appetizers are so tasty and crispy. Handicap entrance near front, wheelchair access is in front of the smoke shop next door to your left. The portions are so large we had leftovers, and the to-go trays were so convenient. I want to give a big shout out to Caleb who works at the Apple Valley ,CA location. This man has some superior customer service skills with a very kind disposition. He is really engaging in conversation with customers and makes the customer feel happy they came If you decide to eat in the restaurant he comes around multiple times to make sure you have everything you need. The main thing that strikes me about his customer service skills is that he does it with such enthusiasm and a joyful disposition. The food is very good and it is a nice to have a Mediterranean restaurant in the high desert. (two now because the first one is in Victorville, CA). I wish this owner/operator continued success. Don Kabob is hands down one of the best spots I’ve ever been to for Middle Eastern food. The flavors are bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced — you can tell everything is made with care. I ordered the mixed grill platter, and every bite was juicy, tender, and packed with authentic spice. The rice was fluffy, the salad crisp, and the sauces? Next level.
