Mattress Firm Apple Valley — Hotel in Apple Valley

Update: I did work with a district manager & the Hesperia Mattress Firm, which were very pleasant to work with and we were able to resolve the issue.

SCAM ALERT. BE WARNED, DO NOT BUY A BED FROM APPLE VALLEY MATTRESS FIRM. If I could give them a -5 I would.

My husband & I bought a adjustable bed & frame from Alissa at Mattress Firm in Apple Valley on Bear Valley Road next to Chipotle. We were expecting delivery next week but received a call from Alissa regarding our delivery & if we wanted to move it up. She offered us a different adjustable base which we agreed to. She then called back and said there was a problem with the mattress we ordered, one side was not available for a while and she didn't want us to wait. She told us there was another mattress which is the same as the one we ordered just in a different color. If we wanted to have that one, we could have the delivery be the next day & she said she would give us a $100 refund also. I confirmed with her 100%, it was the EXACT same mattress & firmness just in a different color and she verified YES exactly the same just a newer color that is not in their showroom. We agreed for the closer date. Fast forward to today 5/27/25... I received the delivery text which was accompanied by the invoice of items being delivered. I noticed the mattress was a different firmness and it had a different name. In researching the 2 mattresses, I found that the new mattress was a downgrade by $1800. Needless to say, I declined the delivery and have requested to talk to their regional or district manager about this issue. I am waiting to hear from them. I also called the AV store prior to delivery about the issue but was told they were too busy to talk to me right now & they would call back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I consider what they did as theft. They tried to down-selling me a mattress that was $1800 less than what I ordered & paid cash for and then lied to me stating it was the exact same as I ordered when it was not. How many other people have they done this to who were not aware of this bait & switch. Still waiting on a call.... (Note-my bonus son had a great experience with the Hesperia...

With a wonderful spirit, Carlos was very considerate and made my comfort & satisfaction "his top priority!" In addition, Carlos was extremely well educated in pairing mattresses with people! Haha. That should be his new motto...!? Carlos prioritized & assisted us while we shopped. Before cost, I felt like my comfort level was a HUGE priority to Carlos. We didn't have to break our bank account. I felt balanced that we made a great purchase for the dollars spent.

Delivery, installation & my first night's sleep will be Tuesday 7/9/24. Carlos promised that would be taken care of, 'free of any add'l cost!'

My birthday is July 4th. I look forward to enjoying a restful sleep on my new birthday present-mattress that nite! I appreciate my husband for this gift that I asked for!!

If asked, I would write another review soon after sleeping on the mattress..?

For now, I feel happy and privileged to have visited the Mattress Firm in Apple...

This is our second time shopping at Mattress Firm and once again Adam was our sleep specialist! On our first visit, Adam was extremely helpful in locating the platform bed frame we were wanting at another store. He set it up so all we had to do is drive over there, show our receipt and the salesmen would load it up for us. Adam was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Today we were shopping for a new Queen mattress and adjustable base. Once again, Adam was totally focused on helping us discover the best mattress to meet our sleep and health needs and he did so within our budget! He is so knowledgeable about the various brands, pros and cons of different features and how a good, supportive sleep is beneficial to one's health! We will be back to purchase a new mattress for our daughter in a few months. Thank you, Adam, for allowing us to hang out with you this afternoon and try so...
