Been here my entire life. They remodeled it. Looks amazing, but the way employees interact with you on the phone is unacceptable. Called to speak with a manager/customer service.. the phone line asked me to use option 0 and then option 2 for customer service.. just dead air. Tried calling again with just the customer service line.. dead air. Tried calling for the produce line (my issue) no answer I finally got a ring through by pressing deli #5 and a man answered and verbatim answered the phone saying “ hello” .. that was it .. I asked if this was in fact giant. He said yes.. I asked for a manager. Is stated that no one was there. I asked if there was anyone overseeing him he said one moment.. A women from deli answered the phone and told me to call back and speak with customer service as they can’t transfer. I expressed that the phone line wasn’t working and couldn’t get in contact. She told me that I need to call back yet again. I told her it wasn’t working.. yet again. I asked her where is the gentlemen that was assisting me she never answered. She just hung up on me. I called back again and spoke with Katie from online orders who was very helpful -kudos to you !!! - and expressed that the night shift isn’t efficient and to call back for a GM tomorrow. I wouldn’t post unless the service was absolute trash , but it’s necessary. I purchased peaches YESTERDAY 9/23 and I grab them today and they’re literally BROWN. They flipped the peaches over on the vibrant side to make them look edible. I’m just trying to speak with a shift leader, manager. Anyone. .. it’s just wrong. I always check my produce , ALWAYS. I was astounded to see the amount of decay when I went to make a smoothie tonight. Photos below is what one side of the peaches look like compared to the other. Which is how I grabbed them

GIANT 4622 Wilkens ave. Baltimore GOOD: staff, quality, choice, atmosphere, deals BAD: Prices are still above average - but quality softens the blow I can't say enough about this store - my first visit after my usual GIANT closed. RIP- but it looks like a blessing. Premium there was fending off panhandlers - at Wilkens ave., premium is well - everything. I walked in to get prescriptions. I received fast, friendly service. The store applied their own "discount" and my meds were ready right away. The store is beautiful - inside and out. Locationwise, instead of a shady laundromat, I get pizza, Chinese and SUBWAY choice. The store is clean, large and well-organized. There are eye catching departments that give you the GIANT meets WHOLEFOODS effect. There is a big seating area for meals and a robust Starbucks (see pics). You may pay the chain prices, but at least they bring the quality and service. They assist on price with triple point promos AND numerous sales. Buying GIANT brands is a good strategy. Finally, a huge perk to this store is the staff. They are numerous and helpful. They seem happy on the job and uplifts your mood as a shopper. Try this store - even if a little farther. You will be pleased.

I’ve been coming here for months. The last time I placed a grocery order for pickup, I waited for over 30 minutes in the parking lot for them to come out. I called beforehand to make sure my order was ready and then had to call THREE times to ask if they were coming any time soon. Complete waste of my time—I would have gone in and shopped myself if I had known I would have to wait in the car for 30 minutes to get a grocery order. When I called after 30 MINUTES of waiting (at this point, outside of the time frame I said I would come pick up), I was told they would be out “soon”. When an associate did finally come out, she was rude. On top of all that, they gave me a bag full of someone else's groceries. I've attached screenshots of the four times I had to call to get my order and a picture of the bag full of someone else's groceries that the associate mindlessly put in my car. Needless to say I will NEVER be coming back to this Giant. Absolutely ridiculous.

I went to this store with my brother to transfer some money to my relative today Dec 5 at 7pm. The person who was working at the Western Union station (her name was Victoria) had the worst customer service. She was very rude to me, my brother, and other customers as well. While my brother and I were waiting in line, I saw that she had a bad attitude to the customer before me. She basically yelled at this lady and ordered her around (not letting this lady's husband and kids to stand with her at the Western Union desk...etc..). When it was my turn, she did not greet me or even say hello. She made a hand gesture ordering me to come around. When I tried to fill out the form to transfer my money, she acted like she was a police. She demanded to know where my money was coming from. I outright told her that it was not her business. The Western Union form did not ask me of where my money was coming form, then why the heck did she need to know. Also, I have used Western Union to transfer money many times, and the last time was just a few days ago. Nobody ever asked such private question, especially when the money being transferred was such a small amount. Anyway, Victoria insisted on knowing where did I got my hard earned money from and I of course wouldn't tell her. Speaking in a tone that was close to yelling, she pointed to my brother and ordered him to go sit away, since he was not the person that made the transfer. She spoke to me in the same rude tone, as if she was a big boss. I was so frustrated, I told her that I would talk to her manager. She smiled and acted like she didn't care. I found the manager of this store and told him about what happened. After the manager talked to this Victoria, she laughed and acted as if it was of a joking matter that she was rude to a customer. Well, if this worker doesn't care about her job and so doesn't care about providing customer service store patrons, then she should just quit. Don't work here and act like she can boss other people around or yell at people and ask questions such as "where did you get your money??" Also, if Giant still keeps such rude and uncaring worker, it will continue to have many frustrated...

They have me and my family & friends back as customers after getting rid of the manager with the disgusting attitude. He tried to accuse Soo many innocent ppl of theft. So to him it seemed as if you weren't elderly you were probably stealing. Lol... I actually looovvee proving them wrong after dealing with their attitude. Then after providing reciept with proof and going thru every single bag and making him bag it right back the way it was because my husband and I have OCD packing our bags lol.. Then I give his nasty attitude right back and enjoy it. When it happens time & time again and you're proven innocent if really makes you mad and you end up exploding. I've been able to hold it back and not explode but give him the same attitude back with a friendly smile😁😁😂 along with🙄🙄🙄

I've noticed and was told that manager is gone. I love my experience at this Giant much more now. I love that there is actually security. From what I can tell their off duty cops. That makes everyone feel safer.. I really like this Giant but when that manager was there I knew it was gunna be a big problem so I had to stop going but now I'm back. Lol and my family had always loved this Giant & it's very close to my house so I'm so happy he's gone. He's bad for business.

EDIT: they're doing lots of construction up that area now so just be careful going into the very 1st area. I'm sure it's for another property but lots of ppl including myself use that one because you don't have to make a U-turn coming back out if u don't want to. But I will give 5 stars now and delete some of my...
