This is an obstacle adventure course that had it's grand opening on March 3rd. It has two levels of heights for climbing, the difficulty varies on each course but it's ultimately an extremely fun and rewarding experience! There are also multiple zip lines throughout the park, including a 600 foot zip that goes across the Trinity River! There's going to be axe throwing set up soon and I can't wait to see how fun that is! There are no age requirements, but the minimum height requirement is 3'3" on the lower course and 4'7" on the higher course. So bring your kiddos and all of your friends and family, it's more fun as a group! The staff are very friendly and encouraging and love to engage with the guests, this is a great place! There are also public walking trails that go underneath the courses that anybody can go on, so you can always check it out that way if you your not ready or unsure about committing to the...

This park is great for walking, biking, skating, etc. The concrete paths are wide and the lane dividers are helpful. Occasionally you'll find dogs off leash, but where won't you find that these days. There's also quite a bit of wildlife. (armadillos, bobcats, bats, snakes, etc) I skate out there 2-4 times per week and I'd say I see a dillo 95%, a bobcat 50%, a snake 10% of the time. If you are aware of your surroundings, you'll be just fine. It's actually quite charming once you get used to it. There are markers nearly every quarter mile, the views are great for being right in the heart of DFW, and the trail now connects with the Viridian for some cool new optional routes. Only downsides for me... there could be more benches and...

Wonderful park for all ages. The many groups boast diversity and acceptance. I love the trail though i think more water fountains should be available on the outter areas with emergency phones and maybe even motion detected cameras at each mile make for safety. Plenty of space for any field sport but wouldn't mind seeing a basketball court or 2. Pavilion rental spaces have electricity but no water connection for the hot summer you. This could help in the spaces being rented more often. Just a couple of recommendations overall my experiences have been great. Hope others will...

The husband I took our bikes late in the day to this beautiful park and wish we could've stayed longer! Smooth ride on mostly paved roads makes it perfect for any type of rider. We rode along the Trinity River and it was quite peaceful with lots of wildlife in the brush. There's a pavilion for picnics and many places along the trail to stop to read about the area along with Historical markers. One trail was closed so if there's been inclinament weather you might want to check to see if any are open for the day. We will definitely be back!

It's a nice long trail for putting in some miles on the pavement. It's also wide enough for bikes to pass by without much trouble and the edges of the path are mowed grass if you prefer to run on something soft. Trees keep it partially shaded and the trail is relatively flat except for a couple gentle rises.

Clean parking area with access to paddling trails, biking trails and walking trails. I will be back to paddle this portion of the West Fork again soon! I am not sure when the gates close but I appreciate that you can still get out after the gates have been closed.
