In June 2020, Town Talk Foods opened a store in Arlington. Prices are low. They sell items that are past their normal expiry date, but remain good. You might think that buying vegetables might be tricky. But my wife and I bought some excellent baby eggplants for a rock bottom price. Boy, they were delicious! They have a lot of candy and snacks. Don’t expect them to be like ones just off the delivery van. I bought a bag of Starbucks ā€œKomodoā€ coffee that I’m aching to try. The bags look well-sealed. They have a large variety of frozen food. We bought some fish sticks. They were crispy and delicious. Beyond the food, the staff were polite and friendly. Most of them were older with older values which appear to have disappeared. The music in the background was from the sixties. Baby boomers would enjoy it. Not everything of our purchases was a hit. But it was fun discovering bargains. We will be back.

The store is a discounted store with good prices only if you are careful enough to buy what you are looking for and pay closed attention to the expiration date on their items wich mostly are expired, about to expire, damage, bruise... I have a sensitive stomach so I purchased very few things, non expired and delicious... On the bright side, they carry a great selection of organic, non gmo items which is great to find for a discount price since normally they are expensive. I most say, they have the friendliest staff ever. Everyone smiles at you, yes you can tell through the mask😁, they ask you if you are ok in a respectful way, they can give you prices for items, will direct you if you are lost... With best team attitude in town! They seem like they love their job!!

Great prices! Extremely nice and helpful employees. I got 1 small watermelon, 5 roma tomatoes, 6 cucumbers, 12 limes, 2 lbs of lemons, 6 white peaches, 3 plums, 1 bag of grapes, 4 huge packages of raspberries, 2 lbs of strawberries, 1 6oz pack of blackberries, 2 big packs of blueberries, and a bag of jalapenos all for $21.57! The only thing I'd say is that the people bagging could be more aware of things getting squished in the bags. Not putting heavy items on top of tomatoes, for example. Also, I'd love to be able to see the prices as I'm checking out to make sure it's what I thought when I picked it up. Either way, this store is amazing and such a blessing!

Went there with my wife, not really knowing what to expect. Went in through the left side and saw lots of boxes of paper cups, Styrofoam cos, to go containers and other simular items and thought that was cool. My wife went to go look at the meat and noticed the streaks were frozen but expiration dates as far back as 2022. Dairy products a week past experience. Everything on the shelves past expiration, although most of it can still be good even though expired. They did have lots of fresh fruit and veggies for good prices. I did get a 30pk of mini Dr Peppers for $8. Lastly cashiers are extremely rude. While shopping, we could hear one of the cashiers arguing with a customer and caused that customer to cry. I bought my soda with EBT, and when they asked about the box of straws that was in my cart, I told them my wife went to go put them back and when the bagger saw my EBT card she said "oh that's why". First of all I have cash in my pocket and in my bank account. I just didn't feel the need to buy straws at that moment. Not a good first impression. More than likely not going back, unless I need more...

Found amazing deals! Every single person I interacted with was so nice! (Employees and customers)

Edit: There is a man named Juan who works in the produce section. He is a bully! My mom is disabled and when we shop she uses the shopping cart for support, this "man" rips the cart away from my mom because he didn't like where she was standing and my mom almost fell then he yells at us to move, mind you no one was even near us so we were not blocking anybody's path. We have spoken to everyone from cashiers to corporate about him. Town Talk even gave us a couple of gift cards as an apology and even offered for an employee to shop with us to protect us from him! How messed up is that?!? The last time we were in there together we were walking into the cooler and he walked up behind us and said "You and all your drama need to get out of my way" Now my mom has anxiety attacks at the thought of shopping there because she is so scared of him. Now to protect myself I have my phone recording while I'm in the produce section. Do...

I used to like this place in Ft. Worth but when they came to Arlington, it's gone downhill. They say they're a "discount grocery" but they charge normal grocery store prices for old food and scam their customers on prices and some of their food. I find better deals at Kroger for things such as Thanksgiving turkeys than at this place. Charging $1.00 a pound for an old turkey compared to Kroger's $0.37 cents a pound turkey that's fresh is outrageous! Not to mention they sell months old yogurt to people that is SOUR and chicken that looks GREEN in the see through packaging. If you try to give folks a heads up on better deals for fresh food on their Facebook page, they block you and delete the comments. They are not a discount, customer centred store. They lie about other successful grocery stores like Kroger saying they don't have much customers (if you shop there you know there's tons there!) and it's about the money for Town Talk and know they are losing customers due to their overpriced near SPOILED and...
